MOTHIUS

I'm 48 and keep getting lower back pain only when I run. I can take pain killers for it and it works but it turns my leg muscles into mush to where I can hardly run. Is there anything I can do or take to rid this pain without affecting my endurance? I have a 10K on Sunday and a marathon 2 weeks later. I'm getting desperate and don't know what to do.

I'm not exactly sure how to make it but it's in the oven now.

If so, explain the physics involved and science behind it cuz it baffles me.

After a routine 8 mile run, I started to sprint the last minute at 12 mph. It wasn't so much my lungs unable to absorb the oxygen but that I wasn't able to get the air in and out of my lungs fast enough, like my throat was constricted. Of course I should and will quite smoking once my racing season has started but will my throat expand any?

A little more than the science of being.

I was talking to this girl on a dating site for a week and everything was fine. I sent her some pictures of me and haven't heard from her again. I feel like an ugly piece of crap and just want to hide in a closet and never come out. How do I shrug it off and move on? I never do this so I don't know how to handle it.

I have a sleep dis-order and take prescription sleep aids every night. They might have muscle relaxers in them and may not be good for muscle endurance of a marathon the next day. Does anyone know for sure? I found out pain killers are a bad idea to take when you have a race to run.

I run those and I was just thinking, I don't really know an answer why I put myself through such punishment. How about you?

I've run 50 miles this week and been running 10Ks and 10 milers for years. I know you need 4-6 months normally but I'm giving it a shot anyway. I guess I need some motivation.

Isn't that a scare tactic? What if you're a good person and do all the right things in life. You harm no-one and are a honest, sincere person but you don't believe? You have no idea how many criminals are in jail and prison that believe. Are they more worthy of Eternal life than you? That's if all that the bible says is true.

It's just material. It doesn't do anything! So what if it's shiny! Through out history, millions of people have died or in-slaved over it. I don't understand.
