I really wish to know who is at the top of the programming team who designed the new layout of Yahoo Answers. The new Yahoo Answers design and layout is totally broken in Firefox 26.0. I can't even ask a question, let alone answering or helping others. Do these people even cross-check their own website in different browsers? It's a HUGE shame for a company of this scale going bonkers on providing an error-free platform for questions/answers. This is ridiculous!

Hey guys, this question is for experts who know exactly how wireless range extenders (wireless repeaters) work. This whole mess is to get my smartphone connected when I'm on the roof.

I have a Netgear wireless router that broadcasts wireless signals to my 3 computers and the smartphone. Within the house everything works properly. Internet connection works fine on computers and my phone. But when I go on the roof, my smartphone connectivity goes down. So I thought of using a Wireless range extender somewhere in between the stairs.

I bought the TP-Link wireless range extender TL-WA730RE. It is installed at a place between the stairs where it can clearly see the Netgear wireless router. There is no obstruction in between, just the door glass.

The Netgear wireless router's SSID is SuzanO and has WPE-Personal security. The manual of the range extender says that all I have to do is, keep the range extender next to the wireless router and then press and hold the "range extender" button for 5 seconds. The LED will start flashing and will become steady once the connection is established. That's what I did but the light never becomes steady, ranger extender LED keeps flashing.

So I did a hardware connection. I connected my laptop through LAN cable to the range extender and then run the EasySetup that came on the CD with the range extender. It asked for the security password for SSID SuzanO. I provided the password and then the connection was established and the range extender LED became steady.

I removed the LAN cable from range extender and laptop. Then removed the range extender and put it in the stairs. This time when I pressed the range extender button for 5 seconds, after flashing for a few minutes, it became steady.

However, when I go up on the roof and try to use my smartphone, the same problem. Very weak connection that gets disconnected after a few seconds. Then I checked the wireless settings on my phone. There are two connections with SSID SuzanO. I guess, one is from the Netgear wireless router and the other one is from the TP-Link range extender.

There's a strange observation. One of the two connections show a very high strength. But when I connect to the SSID with higher connection, the strength goes down but the other one shows higher strength. I connect to the other one, then the older one shows higher strength.

I'm just getting insane at this moment and hours of troubleshooting is going to waste. I have a few questions now:

There are like 10 wireless connections from different companies active in my locality. As per the TP-Link documentation, all I have to do is press and hold the range extender button and it will automatically connect to the wireless router. But what if there are tens of available wireless connections, which one will it connect to?

What should I do to get this stuff working? Please help.

I have tried to give the syrup with a spoon, he wont lick it. I have tried to inject the syrup in his mouth with an injection (no needles, just injection), but he turns his face away and then I have to do the cleanup. Even if a little goes in his mouth, he tends to throw it out. Don't think you can mix the calcium syrup with milk. So what do you do to make your puppy take the syrup? Appreciate your help.

My puppy is 4 months old and it is a Pomeranian dog. He jumped off the bed about 10 days ago and his right front leg seemed to hurt badly. I took the dog to a vet (experienced and well known vet) and asked him if it is a fracture or something. The vet examined my pup and said he is fine. He gave some pain killer injections. He never advised me to get the xray done or anything else. A week later I noticed that his hurt leg (right one) is kinda bent on the joint above the paw in the outward direction. It looked bad because the bent was quite noticeable and the puppy couldn't put his weight on it. I took him back to the vet and at the first look the vet said, it is bad, really bad. He said, the tendons were broke in the injury and they seem to be fixing at wrong place. Again, he did not ask me to get an xray done. I insisted but he said not required. This time he put on some bandage with a cardboard rapped around my puppy's leg to straighten the leg. Its been 2 days and I see the bandage is coming off. Puppy has been biting it and finally the bandage is loose enough to just come off. When I removed the bandage, I saw no change in the bend on his leg. The poor little dog is still in pain. I'm really worried about this sweet little puppy of mine. It is hurting me a lot to watch him trying to run but then he falls each time he puts his weight on the bent leg. What should I do, please suggest. Thank you for your help!
