A long time ago, I heard a poem that I forget about for a long time but recently remembered. It is about a woman who no longer understands her children, because they have started to speak English more and more at home and she can no longer communicate with them in her native tongue. I've tried to look for it myself, but no luck. Any ideas?

I'd like to know some Icelandic singers, songwriters, and bands who sing in Icelandic. I know Bjork, but I want to hear more songs in Icelandic. Any recommendations are welcome!

I'm looking for some female vocalists such as Florence Welch from Florence and The Machine, Bjork, Tarja... all female vocalists are welcome, however =)

*PS - Please no Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, etc. They're beautiful and successful women, but not what I am looking for.

I live in the US, so it's difficult to keep up with Greek pop music. Any recommendations (people like Elli Kokkinou, for example)? Any good Greek songs and artists, older or modern, are appreciated also.

My entire life, I've always tried to enjoy mathematics and logic. Unfortunately, my brain is pretty much completely right-brained. The idea of math seems fascinating...but I can never get into it =(

That being said, do you like math? What about it do you enjoy/not enjoy?

Both of my ears ring non-stop. Most of the time, it's ignorable, but at night (or whenever I'm in a more quiet atmosphere) it gets very noticeable and irritating. Is this normal? Is there anything I can do to stop this, or at least lessen it?

Lately, I've been pretty depressed and in need of some guidance. I want to become more religious, but I'm not sure what religion will be right. I've been thinking that maybe Islam is the path for me, and I just have some questions for any followers out there.

How is the community (accepting/kind)? How does mosque function? What are the basics of Islam? Has turning to Islam helped you in any way? Any other information is welcome and appreciated.

Also, to any atheist/agnostics out there: I've been an atheist my entire life, and I do not think it is the path for me. If you aren't serious, please refrain from disrespectful comments that won't help.
