I have a Damp-it style humidifier that is about 14 in long. I have a dreadnought-size guitar (Taylor). When I put the humidifier in, a couple inches of the damp-it rest on the bottom. Is that alright? I am just concerned that I could damage my guitar if the damp it makes so much surface contact....

I do wring it out before I put it in to make sure there is not excess water inside.

Ok, so I was just fiddling with my guitar, I was checking the tune on the low e string. I loosened it a bit, and then retightened it, to get it to "E", of course. Now it is suddenly very slack compared to how it was, minutes ago. I restrung this guitar about a week and a half ago, so it is a fresh string. It is now so slack that it wobbles to the point of hitting the next, to loose to make a decent note out of it. Very frustrating. I'd hate to have to replace it already, as like I said, it and the rest of the strings are just over a week old. very frustrated. any help? can I just use the same string and restring it? I hate to waste brand new strings.

OK, so, I have been learning how to play the guitar for a few weeks now, (teaching myself), and one of my strings finally popped. So I am restringing it, of course.

I just went and bought a few sets of stings. they're all 9s:

Ernie Ball Super slinkys

Dunlop Nickel wound 9s

D'Addario nickel wound XL 9s

What is the best set out of these three? I'm experimenting, but you know, itll be a while before I switch em up. (I orginally went for the EBSS, but they also suggested the other two)

Thats my main question. But any tips on restringing an electric (fender strat knockoff (for now)) are appreciated! I've got a hand crank...

Ok so I got a wacom intuos4 tablet, medium size and wireless, and I can't get it to work with my mac. It works perfectly with my PC Laptop, but not correctly with my mac. it moves, at a small scale rate, not proportionally with the screen like it is supposed to, and the lights for the buttons do not turn on. the power light and wireless light do turn on. when I put in the software CD in the mac, and press install, it just gives me a white screen where the install part should be. it makes no sense. anybody have any ideas?

yea, so this sandisk cruzer flash drive broke after about a month of use. it doesn't light up like it usually does, nor is it detected by the computer. If you know how to fix it, that would be fantastic, but at the very least, does anyone know how to recover the data?

so I'm trying to pull an app from itunes onto my itouch but it does not work. I just want to bring one app in. I pull it to the symbol for my ipod under devices, but nothing happens. I understand that you can sync it in the "apps" section, but that says it will delete all of my apps when it does so (is that really neccessary? I mean come on.) can some one help me out here?

I am trying oil paints. I will be getting a set (suggestion of brand?). I also would like to know if there's anything I should do differently from acrylics? I'm experienced with acrylics, I've always used them, but I would like to try oils now. I know they dry alot slower, and colors are more consistent with what they were before they dry. but like, washing the brushes afterward? do I just use water? should I use the same brushes as I do for acrylics?

I am buying a new flash drive because my old one is full. I do not know what the brand of my old one is , but it worked well. so now I need a new flash drive and I need a good, solid, dependable brand, that won't shut down or break in any way after a few weeks. any suggestions?

I downloaded asphalt 5 onto my itouch and the blue installation bar is full, and just stays full. it won't go away and so won't finish the installation. does anyone know how to fix this?

ok, so there is this phrase, or idea of moss covered rocks, and I thought it was that the moss on a rock always points towards civilization, and another friend said that it was supposed to always point north. obviously, neither of these are true, but its just some idea that some one made up. I have some songs I downloaded onto my itouch from the mobile itunes, and I can't transfer them onto my computer's itunes library. How can I do this? it's a little bit ridiculous if I can't do that transfer. so. Itouch library to computer itunes library.

Hey, I am probably going to buy an ipod touch. I'm thinking that I will get an 8 gig, but I heard that the 8 gig 3G is actually pretty much a 2G. is this true? and if so, should I go for something else? like a 32G 3G or one of the old models?
