I know pH is negative logarithm to base 10 of hydrogen ion. I thought pH is power of hydrogen where the concentration of hydrogen ion increases exponentially from pH 0 to pH 12 so I think in a scale where at pH 12 concentration of H+ ion is maximum and concentration of OH- ions is 0. My friend says the opposite, he says as it is negative logarithm of Hydrogen ion concentration the concentration of H+ ion decreases, and acidic pH is between pH 0 to 7 and basic pH is between 7 to 12, so in acid hydrogen, ion is more so in acidic pH more hydrogen ions are there. It is partially correct but anyway can you clear this confusion? All efforts are greatly appreciated. Thanking you

I was thinking if the magnets were outside earth's atmosphere or away from any planet they would not have the property like like poles attract and unlike poles repel because the directional property is due to earth's magnetic field, pardon me I don't know magnetism in detail I just have general Idea. Can the magnets form large objects like any other planet or satellite, so what would happen if 2 bar magnets were in space ?

My brother got fever I don't know which fever it is, it may be malaria because he was shivering, and his temp was 104 F, and fever occured after every 6 hrs. should I keep a soaked cloth of cold water on his forehead or not, because I think his fever will become severe. We 've already been to the doctor and he was not sure but prescribed some medicines to reduce fever , he suggested for blood test and the result will come today so in the mean time what can I do.
