Best metal bands since 2000?
Plain and simple, what is your top ten since 2000
Heres mine, and i tried to not put classic bands onto the list, lol we all know slayer, maiden, death, etc are super great haha
1. Lamb of God - Groovy thrashy politcal metal band who refuses to sell out despite success, my top pick for number 1 spot
2. Mastodon- Newer band that is absolutely fantastic
3. Children of Bodom- They have been around awhile, but has been fantastic last 11yrs
4. Between the Buried and Me- metalcore/prog band that just keeps getting better
5. System of a Down- an original band that has broken up (super sad face)
6. Opeth- Prog death metal? lol great band and very original that has come along the last 11 yrs
7. As I lay dying- another consistent and talented metal/metal-core group
8. Amon Amarth- Swedish viking death metal machine, huge underground success
9. The Faceless- only have 2 albums, but crazy talent, sickkkk band
10. Machine Head- The blackening is one of the best albums of the last decade
Obviously I'm sure i missed some great bands and this list is biased towards my musical tastes, but these bands have make huge impacts on the metal scene since 2000. And i did leave out those metal bands that have been around forever and are obviously great haha. I did leave off many commercially successful bands like A7X slipknot atreyu etc because they simply are better at selling records than making music, and i think they suck hahaha.

4 AnswersDiet & Fitness1 decade agoAbout "Christianity"?
For what ever reason some people are under the delusion that the Christian beliefs/values, People who say they are Christians, and Organized Christian Religion are all the same seem. I don't know why these very different things have been merged together in some peoples minds.
Just because a church or a Christian said or did something bad doesnt mean it is part of the teachings of Christ. These are very different things. People who say they are Christians are still people and very imperfect and in some cases, bad, selfish people. Churches can be the same way.
What im getting at is that when you criticize, i think you should criticize the people/organizations who are being bad and not the Christian beliefs that they "claim" to be adhereing too.
I mean im all for healthy debate and sharing of ideas between all peoples and i try not to generalism others and i do try to respect others so idk why this occurs. Any ideas? thoughts? Perspectives?

8 AnswersVideo & Online Games1 decade agoWhy do pro life supporters also support the death penalty?
If all life is sacred then why would you start making exceptions? I also find that many fellow Christians support pro life and death penalty, why is this, we have no right to judge if we believe we are all sinners. Are you sure you are thinking about what you believe or just blindly accepting?

3 AnswersSkin Conditions1 decade agoA question for Christians/theists and Atheists ?
Tell me your thoughts on this perspective.
Atheism: The belief that there was nothing and nothing happened to nothing and then nothing somehow exploded for no reason, creating everything and then a bunch of everything somehow rearranged itself for no reason what so ever into self replicating bits that then turned into dinosaurs. Makes perfect sence
Although that is originally meant to be humorous, it does raise a valid point. Most Atheists praise there logic and say that the idea of God doesn't make sense and isn't logical. But from this perspective it seems the other way around. I'm not trying to hate on anyone or asking people conform to my beliefs, i'm just asking everyone to consider a different perspective because i believe thinking with an open mind is truly important to developing yourself as a person.
