  • Nose injury during sparring?

The other day I was sparring in judo with this kid. Somehow I ended up behind him and flung his head back right into my face. I heard my nose crack but there was no bleeding and I'm still able to breath pretty easily. It hurts pretty badly to the touch but because it doesn't really look crooked (just a bit swollen) I'm pretty positive it isn't broken. I was just wondering what other injury it could possibly be? Could it have something to do with cartilage? The most concerning part for me is just the clear cracking noise I heard.

  • Do tattoo artists have a problem coloring in other artists' line work?

I got my line work out of state and I'm ready to get it colored, I was just wondering if there would be a problem finding an artist who would be willing to color in someone else's work

  • Does just the outline of a tattoo take less time to heal than a fully colored one?

I hear a full tattoo takes around two weeks to heal, but would just the outline with no color take less time than that?

  • Endurance going way down after one week?

The past couple months I've been running a hard 6 miles every day, but I recently had to stop because of a possible stress fracture in my left shin.

I've only stopped running for a week, but now when I do even light cardio work in my muay thai and mma classes I get winded really easily. Could this be because I suddenly stopped running?

And I don't know if this would contribute at all, but the day I stopped running I also gave blood which made me feel pretty week lifting for a couple days after that.

  • Right shoes for running with chondromalacia?

I've been wearing Brooks but they're starting to wear out and I want to try another brand.

I've already been to physical therapy for a couple months and got the OK to start running again. I also do special daily exercises to keep the strength in my knee up.

I was just wondering if Under Armour is an okay brand for running shoes. I had a really bad experience with Nike running shoes and I'm not sure if the UA ones are similar.

  • How long does it take for a tattoo to heal?

I do a high contact sport and only have three to four days off from it at any one time. If I returned to the sport three or four days after getting the tattoo, would this cause fading or other negative effects?

  • How do I change my personal information on my Mac?

When filling out forms online (online shopping, etc.) the auto-fill on my mac puts in my old address. I recently moved and was wondering how I change this?

  • Best Tattoo shops in Rhode Island?

I've been looking for a tattoo shop that would be able to do a detailed portrait, and I'm pretty wary of some of the ones I've found.

To give you an idea, I'm thinking of a portrait of saint michael, so detail is really important.

  • How do I heal an old shin injury?

I was training in muay thai around three weeks ago and didn't have shin pads. As a result of this I got pretty bad bruising on my right shin. I noticed the swelling immediately after the injury (literally minutes later) and figured it would go down.

It really hasn't and the area is still sensitive to the touch. For the most part the discoloring is gone but the swelling hasn't changed at all and I'm getting kind of concerned. I know that it's a fluid buildup or something but I really don't know where to go from here.

I was wondering, does anyone know around how long this type of injury takes to heal (on it's own)? Or am I better off getting it checked by a doctor?
