Hi there - I'm a certified cardiovascular technician with a lot of experience working in hospitals, ER's, and ICU units. I like to answer a lot of the medical questions on here, because even though I'm not a doctor, I feel like I might have some good advice based on the education and experience I have. I love paranormal things, so you might see me answer a lot of those questions too. I, as well as many others, believe that I am a medium, so "ghosts" as you would call them (not what I call them) are a part of my every day life. I am a lesbian, so I try to reach out to the teenagers that are questioning their own sexuality and share the trials I went through with figuring out who I am and what I like. And lastly, I play 4 instruments and have been teaching piano for over 10 years so I like trying to help out with music questions! Feel free to email me or instant message me if you have any questions about anything I've answered for you.

  • Paranormal question...?

I seem to "attract" spirits. It is nothing new. It has happened all my life.

However, something different happened to me last night. My fiance and I had been bickering, so I turned over in bed but couldn't sleep. I didn't want to talk to my fiance though, so I just stayed lying on my side with my back turned to my fiance.

My fiance was in bed next to me watching a DVD on our laptop. All the sudden I hear my fiance get close to my ear and say, "you snooze you lose..." I rolled my eyes and ignored it, thinking, "how childish..."

Well, my fiance kept repeating it and actually said "you snooze you lose" 3 times before I snapped back and said, "oh really? what do I lose out on?"

I didn't get an answer, so I said, "oh now you are ignoring me?" ...No answer. So, I spun around and the laptop was sitting on the bed next to me alone.

My fiance was in the bathroom. I freaked out and asked my fiance about saying that in my ear, saying it wasn't funny. My fiance swears it wasn't them. Honestly, it couldn't have been...and the DVD playing didn't have "you snooze you lose in it."

The weird thing is that for the week before this I as having nightmares when I would try to sleep each night.

My questions: Was this entity threatening me? Does it sound like a normal spirit or something more manevolent? Why would it mimick my fiance's voice?

  • Is studying demons bad/dangerous?

I have always been interested in the paranormal and thought for the longest time I just lived in a lot of haunted houses.

A few years ago I actually found out I am sensitive/mediumistic.

Demonology interests me and I want to research more on it but I know you have to be careful when dealing with things like that so I want to make sure before I start learning that I won't open any doors to negative entities.

Is it bad to research demons? I will in no way be dabbling in the occult, Wicca, or satanism...I just want to read up on demonology.

  • What's the difference in a spinal compression fracture and a spinal compression deformity?

When I research them online it talks about them like they are both one in the same.

When I read about compression deformities and fractures it says they happen to the elderly. I am only 25 so I am wondering why my MRI found a compression deformity.

Also, my back really hurts...is this normal for compression deformities?

  • What is the difference in a lumbar compression fracture and a lumbar compression deformity?

When I research them all I can see is info on compression fractures. Are they one in the same?

One theory I had was that maybe I had a compression fracture that never healed thus causing the compression deformity.

Also, what is the treatment for these when conservative treatment fails? I have had epidurals, facet injections, physical therapy, and accupuncture. I just saw a neurosurgeon and have a discogram soon. Anyone else have the same thing?
