self explanatory. also where else can i get them?

i bought a sexed pair of dwarf cajun crayfish from a friend and yesterday i noticed that my male was blue, not just tinted blue but actually blue...its not as prominent as a blue crayfish but its still blue nonetheless. At first i thought it might be something connected with my water quality and stuff but my female stayed a lovely brown with black stripes. any thoughts or reasons?

i'm looking for a copper free invert safe ich treatment...any suggestions? also how do i do the salt and heat treatment?

i have a tank with cherry shrimp, ottos, and a pleco. a while back i borrowed my brother's baby guppies to eat copepods but i forgot to quarantine them... now i have ick or ich whatever... will it affect my cherries? how should i treat it? i put in salt but how much should i put? what should it read on the hydrometer? does it matter if i use sea salt? are there any medications to treat ich/ick that don't have copper?

i have a mild case of green spot algae...i went to petsmart to get it tested they said everything was great(neutral) but my ammonia was a bit high but still in the safe zone... so i don't think its water parameters. my setup is a 6 gal with built in 3 stage filtration, i have 3 ottos one rubber lipped pleco(1.5"), around 60 cherry shrimp, a sexed pair of dwarf crayfish and one guppy fry. i also have a bunch of MTS in the gravel. the tank is planted with 5 sprigs of various crypts, 5 marimo balls, water sprite, java moss, i have a xmas moss wall, some kind of weird plants i got from petsmart(it was attached to the driftwood) i have two of those, i have duckweed floating up top as well. i don't overfeed, i put in blanched zucchini which gets devoured in 1-2 days. i think it might be the light, i used to leave it on for maybe 10 hours? now i've cut it to 4-5. i dose flora pride occasionally and maybe half a plant tabb when i remember (like every 2 months?) help! on getting rid of it. my pleco hasn't eaten it -_- though i had another rubber lipped pleco in my previous tank that ate all of it. will a magfloat clean it off? i'm using a bamboo chopstick right now

i have a 6 gallon shrimp tank with well over more than about 70 shrimp, yes i know its overstocked but they've been multiplying too fast and i don't really want to remove them. its planted with plants about 9 different kinds with more than one of each kind. well today i looked into the tank and i saw that there were some white things with like to sacks or balls at the end...kind of like this: o8 well anyways i've read about these before but i can't find any info on them and i've forgotten their name...im pretty sure they're not harmful... i don't overfeed because i throw maybe 1/3 of a algae wafer down each day and with that many shrimp it lasts perhaps less than an hour. i have maybe 20+ MTS in my gravel so i don't understand why i have planaria...i'm not even sure that they're planaria...they're like little white worms and really skinny and they form like these web like things... please help

i'm trying to decided between a group of 3-4 otto cats and a rubber lipped pleco...the rubber lipped pleco i know will clean all of my algae problems but i don't want it eating my shrimp or uprooting my plants, but the otto cats die very easily...

well i bought wisteria cuttings from some guy and they all have roots... the problem is that they're pretty small stem and root wise. so right now it has been a floating plant for maybe couple of weeks. i really want to put it in a pot and leave it there... any ideas? im trying to put it in a tera cotta pot from michaels...

well the title is self explanatory... im getting a case of green spot algae even though my tank is planted with crypts marimo balls, xmas moss, java moss, wisteria, and some other misc plants that i have no idea what they are...and my cherry shrimp can't eat green spot algae... i use flora pride and plantabbs and aquatic soil...no co2 well ill make a diy one soon...what are the proportions? i don't vacuum the gravel because i have MTS and cherry shrimp quite alot of them actually...is that what's causing the trouble? i don't overfeed maybe one algae wafer for about 70-100 shrimp every one to three days... well anyways i was going to get some otto cats from petsmart but last time i bought 2 they died the next day... well maybe it was because i didn't acclimate then properly...how do you suggest i do it? or it was because buying 2 of them are too little im planning to get 4 so they aren't as stressed... do they usually die on you guys too? well if i don't get much of promising answers ill probably have to stick with the rubber lipped pleco...tho i don't want it hitting my plants and uprooting them... also any better suggestions for betta tankmates? im planning to get 2 adf's maybe three, i read that they can eat reptomin...i have the floating ones that i feed my acf's will those work or only sinking...i have shrimp pellets... also i'm planning to get frozen food for my cherry shrimp and my frogs do you think bloodworms are better? or brineshrimp? thx guys...sorry if my question makes you answer like a huge answer :]

im think about getting a hamster...i've had a few hamsters before and the wheel was always so frickin loud it drove me nuts. so i was going to invest in a costly silent spinner...would a mini one work? or does a black bear need a bigger size? any suggestions on silencing the cheap loud ones? i play the french horn and i have this slide grease...would that work or would something like vaseline work as well? and also im going to keep him inside a 10 gallon tank with a perfecto glass canopy on top... the back part where the cuttable thing is im going to put a screen...is it going to be enough ventilation? i could put a air pump for aquarium near that screen for better air...

i have cherry shrimp and i want them to breed more plentifully...do they breed to a limit depending on tank size? or do they breed endlessly?

do dwarf crayfish (dwarf cajun crayfish) get along with cherry shrimp? i don't want them attacking and eating each other

i bought some marimo balls and one of them fell apart, no matter how much i roll it it won't become a ball again, so could i just sow it together with thread an make it a ball? i just upgraded my tank but all i have are some 60+ cherry shrimp and i want some albino cory's, will they eat my shrimp? i mean if they eat shrimp pellets wouldn't they go after cherry shrimp. im looking forward to breeding my shrimp. i have a large tank ornament 3 crypt parva, 6 marimo balls, 2 dwarf lillies, and a ball of java moss. so if its a hiding space matter that's taken care of. im worried because the other fish i kept with my shrimp ate them :[ such expensive food!!! believe it or not even my neon tetras ate some baby ones>:O. so i just want to know if i can keep albino corys with them...i think the fish care person at petsmart is pissed off at me for returning my fish so many times.

today i came back from school just in time to witness my neon tetra eat one of my cherry shrimp. OMG!!! 2 dollar food >:O so i was pissed off. that neon tetra was the one chasing the others around as well. should i even keep fish in my cherry shrimp tank? i was thinking that their small mouths wouldn't harm the shrimp but every time i put food up top the tetras ignore it... what should i do? return them? also do cherry shrimp eat crushed snails? :] i have a snail infestation, so lately when i see the baby snails i crush them and let the corpse drop down below... will the shrimp eat them otherwise ill have to find some other way to kill off the snails. do you know of any fish that will definently leave my shrimp alone?

I got 2 dwarf gouramis for my tank, and their diets were omnivore...will they eat the shrimp or harass them? also i had a problem with ramhorn laying their eggs on the walls. can i just take something and scrape and destroy the egg sacs?

I recently added cherry shrimp and some ramhorn snails from my friends tank... then i noticed some clear thing stuck on the wall of my aquarium. its diameter is roughly half a cm. the thing is round shaped clear stuck on the wall and has 3-5 large circles on the surface. the first day i thought it was just some random crap and scraped it off but now i noticed 3 more. im pretty sure it was from the snails because i added some to a small isolation tank and i noticed that one appeared in it today. it could be from the cherry shrimp... it was shipped in a bag and i noticed something similar stuck on the surface of the bag. im trying to find a picture on google but i can't find it if i don't know wat it is...if i find a pict ill post it. plz help is it dangerous? how do i get rid of it?

I got my cherry shrimp today in the mail and i noticed that the color wasn't very prominent like at first glance i thought i got jipped and got ghost shrimp but then i saw faint streaks of red... will they stay like this? or do they get redder when they grow, or did they just fade in color temporarily due to being shipped?

i bought a bottle of aquasafe... and i was wondering you know how the spout has that hole thing on it, how many drops of that equals one mL? o and can you answer my previous question?

i just bought a bottle of aquasafe and found out that it was one ml for 2 gallons. I have a 5 gallon tank so how would i do this? is it okay to put 3 drops for just 5 gallons of water? also do i mix the water inside the tank or outside the tank? I know this question makes me seem like a noob aquarist but i used to use the topfin conditioner and i mixed it one ml for each gallon in separate 1 gallon cleaned milk containers.
