Think about it first. If it was my goal to steal a car, I wouldn't need a license plate number to do it, If I did, then I would just go on the hwy and record all that I liked. In addition, the information related to a license plate is protected by the state.

If you're going to put your hope, dreams and admiration into something, would you choose Ferrari or Jesus Christ, and why you would go with one over the other?
6 AnswersReligion & Spirituality7 years agoIf there are no moral absolutes...? Pt. II?
Who is to decide what is right and what is wrong if there are no moral absolutes? And don't tell me 'SOCIETY" because the Nazis were a 'society" and look what they decided what was right and what was wrong. Syria (Assyria) is a society and look what they just decided what was right and what was wrong. If you tell me that you "know what is moral and what is not," then you have just told me that you have figured this out and that everyone else is wrong. So, if there are no moral absolutes and no one designer of morality to answer to, then where do you draw your morally superior standards of morality and perspective of judgement from?
9 AnswersReligion & Spirituality8 years agoIf there are no moral absolutes...?
No God, no one to judge me for my actions, deeds and behavior on earth; if God is what you want him to be; then what would happen if I decided that my God told me that school kids were evil little critters, and loaded my Ford E350 full of fertilizer bomb and drove it on to the playground during recess? Or... I decided to follow my sexual urges and seduce your sexy 14-year old daughter with sex, drugs and alcohol because she does not have a father in her life and her mother is also a precise example of "no moral accountability" Since there are no moral absolutes, wouldn't this behavior be "natural," and I would simply be doing what I decided was right? Since there are no moral absolutes, then each person decides for themselves what is moral and what is not.

We have a coworker who's responsibilities include; receptionist, division manager, division CFO, sales manager, division production manager, shipping manager, and recently, due to the boss's bitter divorce over 8 months ago, she is now his personal nanny to his 3 children on her days off and overnight when he's traveling for business. Now you would think that he would pay more than $2.00 per hour as she recently came to the conclusion what he's paying her, and she is concerned that if she says no, the her job may be in jeopardy. What would you do?

5 AnswersSociology9 years agoEmployer Cheating Employees Out of Overtime Pay.?
6 years ago, my employer hired me under the classification of 'exempt' as a salaried employee. Although I make equivalent of $21.63 per hour, I am asked to travel frequently and do a number of retail trade shows throughout the year, and this often involves working 45 to 60 hours per week— traveling on Sundays, and physically assembling and packing the trade-show booth (think steel components) along with a bunch of other company employees. I was originally hired as inside sales and have since been given the responsibility of at least two other part time employees within the company whose positions have been eliminated, yet, I do not meet the federal guidelines for 'exempt'.
I am also aware of this employer's practice of falsifying the hourly workers time sheets in order to lower total number of hours worked in any given week; as to avoid paying them overtime as well. This is a common practice at our company along with the sales tax evasion I see frequently.
My question is; do I blow the whistle and take the heat, the persecution and the high probability that I will be escorted off the property and mugged by my someone hired to do this, or at the very least, fired for some other excuse? I am having a difficult time with this decision, because I know this will cost my employer plenty; maybe enough to force the company into bankruptcy. Today in this job market, there are up to 200 local families depending on the survival of this company.
Your ethical input is appreciated.
