I wrote this for an English college class last year right after Bin Laden was caught and killed. I figured, 'hey, let's post it to yahoo answers and see what people think, why not?' Here it is:

His fate began in September '01

With a death count close to 3,000

Hijacking our planes, killing our crew

Letting them fall into cities we grew.

10 years passed and mend we tried

For those we lost, we did decide

(the ravage he did to our mankind)

Cost him the hunt that would headline.

His fate that began in Fall of '01

Now at his front door with nowhere to run

Our forces like stealth found the man

Using a woman to shield 'The Plan'.

What coward, what foe

To be so shallow....

One shot to the head

And Bin Laden was dead.

At 24 years old, I'm terrified to move in with my boyfriend. I love him dearly, and we've been together for almost a year, but my past experiences have taught me that moving in together dooms a relationship. People get sick of each other, and you're left trying to figure out your life (and where you are going to live) again. For months he's been asking me and I keep putting it off, waiting for when I know is the right time. Should I just take the leap, or sit at home inevitably turning into an old cat lady? I feel like keeping us where we're at we'll never grow tired of each other, as we only see each other a few days out of the week. But living together will push us into boredom with each other.... Is something wrong with me or what?? Needing help!

My boyfriend just told me he's going to take a job in Iraq for 6 months. I'm dumbfounded. He's not in the military, he was just offered a job out there and he's taking it because it pays better. He doesn't even seem sad to leave me he just says that we will be fine and get through it. I feel that if you truly loved someone, no amount of money could keep you away from them. And that to truly feel rich in life you need to count the things that money can't buy. Am I naive? I know that if I were in his shoes I would never accept the offer because of how much I love him. What do you people out there think?

And give me your best argument why.

We've been together for over a month and have fallen head over heels. I know it's new, but when ya know ya know. It's not like I'm a little girl distracted by infatuation. About two weeks into it I found out he was still married. He's getting a divorce, but they're still legally married even though they reside in different states. She calls constantly wanting him back, and they have a kid together. He swears its over, and I'm pretty sure I believe him. I'm just curious... who out there has advice, words of wisdom, or opinions on the matter? Anyone out there ever been/going through the same thing?

I'm 5'4" and I weigh 145 pounds. Is that big? I'm hoping some honest answers will help me be more aware of my body...

Season finale was supposed to be on 15 minutes ago, but 60 minutes is still on the air. WHAT THE HECK IM SO MAD AT CBS RIGHT NOW.

Just wondering with 8 left who everyone else is rooting for. I think Bob is awesome and would like him to win, especially after he made that little fake immunity idol out of... nature stuff. What does everyone else think?

When the election was over I posted a question asking if anyone else thought Obama being elected would flare the racial tension even worse. A bunch of people responded and most of them, in short, said I was crazy and paranoid. Keeping that in mind here's what happened to me last night....

I had just left the bar and was sitting on a bench waiting for my boyfriend to bring the car from the parking garage. I was smoking a cigarette and as I exhaled a group of 6-7 black people walked by. (They weren't in the bar they just happened to be walking down the road.) So they walked through my second hand smoke and instantly bombarded me. They were saying things like "Show some respect cracker" "don't disrespect us cracker" I didn't even have a chance to say anything before there were 4 black girls standing up in front of me in my face. So of course I stood up, and the instant I did they took me down. When it was over they walked away laughing and chanting Obama's name. Even though I am a hurting unit this morning, my pride hurts more than anything. It's hard for me to swallow the fact that I couldn't or didn't even have the chance to fight back.

So can anyone make sense of the Obama chanting afterwards? Has anyone else experienced anything like this since Obama was elected? And most importantly, does anyone else see racial issues getting worse?

I know having our first black president is a historic moment for everyone in America. BUT all I see is the racial tension flaring. Some woman on Y/A was calling us all "crackers" and saying we shoot our family and smell like bologna. (Yea I don't get it either) Another man was saying "it's about time the blacks are in charge..." There have never been any whites here on Y/A (that I've seen) that have ever had the audacity to belittle the blacks the way they are too us now. What is the deal?

I just got out of the Navy and go to school full-time. My car is undrivable and unreliable. I need a new car, but my only source of income is the money i get to go to school... I have never missed a car payment in years. Is this possible to trade it in for a new one?

They work together and shes asked him for rides home and then tonight they went out to dinner together. He's told me she's attractive also. It tears me apart because I don't think it's right even if they are "friends" to be on a one-on-one intimate setting. Am I completely wrong? Wouldn't that scare you?

I have 2 four-month old kitties. I can NOT train them! They keep jumping on the counters (despite my crazy screaming antics and throwing them off) they get into everything, they rule our apartment right now. I can't even sleep they are so wild. Does any one have any legitimate cat training suggestions?

I don't know what it is.... I love making my guy happy, but if i look at it or feel it I start dry heaving, (and i certainly cant have it "happen" anywhere near my mouth) it makes me so sick to my stomach, its so embarassing but I can't help it! Do any of you have a similar situation or any advice for me?

I have a 98 mustang gt. When I stop at a light, the car acts like its going to stall out. The rpms rev up and down and the car shudders when it gets low BUT if I let off the brake and let it creep forward it goes away! Also it smells like antifreeze, but I just had the intake and the gaskets replaced, and the reservoir is full and nothing leaks under the car. Also when I'm on the highway for the first 10 minutes the car surges. Nothing changes guage wise, but you can feel the car lurching forward and back... Almost like your applying a quick brake and then letting go. But this goes away after 10 minutes. Is it all related or are they separate things? Any suggestions would help. I am fairly good with my mustang, it has a new fuel pump, new TPS Sensor, new EGR valve, new intake and gaskets, new spark plugs and fuel rail, new o2 sensor, new head gasket, good oil change, new alternator and new battery... The only thing I know it needs is a brake job and an alignment. Help would be great!!!

We have been together for a year... and it seems like hes just lost all interest. I try do to do things to make him happy and show him I care. I always make him lunch on his breaks, keep the place clean, buy him gifts, treat him to movies, etc... I feel like he doesn't notice. I barely can get a word out of him on his days off, rarely kisses me. I don't know what to do... Any help would be nice. Has he stopped caring?

Who thinks that women are getting ready to take over? Who believes that mens arrogance and belief that they reign supreme, will lead to their fall?

I didn't have any chocolate milk in the house... so I mixed hot fudge and milk. Why doesn't it taste good?
