if you could pick 2 players to start a franchise with, a goalie and a skater, who would it be? remember you would want these two players for a long time, so a veteran like marty brodeur may not be the best answer. personally i would go with Evgeni Malkin and Henrik Lundqvist.

would you rather have Mike Richards to start your franchise or sidney crosby? i know most people will pick crosby, but Richards is a more complete player, he is a good hitter( crushed malkin) and is a great penalty killer (SHG last game) i would take him over crosby, even though richards will prolly only top out at around 90 points a year, i think he's better than crosby, what do you think?
