Franchise players?

if you could pick 2 players to start a franchise with, a goalie and a skater, who would it be? remember you would want these two players for a long time, so a veteran like marty brodeur may not be the best answer. personally i would go with Evgeni Malkin and Henrik Lundqvist.

I would never build a franchise around a goalie. Osgood is a fine goalie, but he doesn't need to be Roy or Fuhr, he had puck-moving, active defense in front of him. . .

I may pick that Kane cat from Chicago as a skater (just so I wasn't picking Crosby, Malkin, or Ovenckin.) If I were to pick a goalie, it would probably be Huet. I would however, find a great defenseman instead of a goalie.

i do no longer see him as a real franchise participant. a solid helping solid member, yet no longer one to hold a team evening out and in. Too many gaps in his interest, and from what i see his ethic is lacking at circumstances, alot of circumstances actual. i think of he could be a great function participant on a team that has a franchise participant, enjoying alonside a kobe, lebron, wade, Pierce, etc....perhaps, basically perhaps, if he had a coach that became into able to motivating him to play to his skill each and all the time, he'd be a franchise participant. yet that is alot of whip cracking, and it is going to no longer be nessesary for a real franchise participant. If i became right into a gm, i actual does no longer build a team around him, or provide him celeb money whilst he's a FA, yet i could take him if I had a team that became into in basic terms a chew or 2 faraway from severe opposition. i enjoyed shaq's ' rupaul' remark approximately him by employing the way.... i think of bosh is a style of ' watered down' stars.....he's made out to be alot extra suitable than he's by technique of the fact he's larger than maximum he performs with/against, performs for a particularly undesirable team, and not alot is particularly anticipated of them and him. yet he's not so good ( a Franchise participant) that he could make a great distinction.

Rick Nash and Roberto Luongo (age 29) still has plenty left in the tank and is already a proven goalie.
