Hello.. I was wondering if anyone has any ideas for seemingly "medieval" (does not, necessarily, have to be historically accurate) foods I can serve at my upcoming medieval-themed birthday party.

I desire to ask, in place of gifts, money to donate to a world hunger relief for my birthday party. However, I am a vegan and I feel that to give the hungry meals which include meat would just be exacerbating problems in the long-run for them- not to mention being unethical and unnecessary. I am also a Christian, and therefore do not wish to support any other religion's evangelism.. If you know of any, please help!

Do you believe in them? Have you found yours- and how? Have you done anything outstanding with it?

Being a Christian and a vegan, I am take offense to most vegan podcasts- they rely heavily on the theory of evolution, they use frequent profanities, they poke fun at belief in God, etc- and would love to locate one run by Christians- not only to eliminate the parts of other podcasts that I find offensive but also to restore my faith that there are, somewhere, other Christians who care about animal welfare and see factory farming as a sin.

I found an adult bearded dragon two years ago and (shame, shame, shame on me) I have yet to really give him the care he needs... Anyhow.. I know his diet is supposed to be 70 per cent greens and fruit and 30 per cent insects, but he won't eat ANY greens or fruits unless I poke it in his face until he unwillingly chomps and eats it.

Does anyone know of a link to a page that offers them? I'd like to hand them out on Halloween with candy to educate the kids. Thanks in advance

I know this sounds odd, but I am not kidding; when I am petting or grooming or paying attention to any animal/thing that I feel is defenseless against me, I grind my teeth and clench my jaw, and it hurts. Not to mention the fact that it is strange. Does anyone else do this?..

I am going to (very shortly) be getting a haircut- and it will have to be short (chin length or so); you see, I have very damaged hair in the back from a foolish decision to bleach my hair once. Anyway, I have thin hair, a fairly large nose, and what is best described as a rectangular-shaped face, although at times I wonder...

I would like some suggestions as to who I could contact to possibly instigate the removal of hundreds of phone books that where dumped in to a stream/river near my neighborhood, in the forest behind it.

They nearly completely clog up the ten foot or so river, since they are combined with so much other trash.. Who could help?

I recently (like a month and a half ago) began taking prozac. A week or so ago, I heard two really odd things: first, my hearing became EXTREMELY sharp for about ten seconds and I heard, clearly, people talking about 300 or so feet away, second, when I was reciting this prayer with two other people, I heard a weird, scratchy voice (I guess) say some parts of the prayer, though there was no one else in the room and certainly no one else with a voice like that!

It also happened again today... While I was in an empty room with three other oboe players, I heard a weird, creepy, zipper-ish sound behind me, where no one was located. Everyone was in front of me, and every one of us was playing E flat... So it couldn't have been them.

"Is hearing things" a possible side effect of prozac?

In the novel Phantom of the Opera, Erik (The Opera Ghost) refers to The Persian as "daroga" multiple times. I presume it's a type of Persian Royalty... But what is a daroga really? I googled it and nothing of help came up!

1.I fear abandonment, but instead of leaving the person I make sure that I do not care enough about them to care if they left me, ruining relationships and making me indifferent to them.

2. I have no friends because only occasionally do I feel the urge to try to make some, and even then the next day I no longer wish to be friends with them, or anyone.

3. I can never make up my mind because I want one thing one hour and something else the next, then nothing at all after that because neither choice was desirable.

4. I am extremely sensitive to the criticism of adults. From even the smallest remarks I'll cry if they're directed at me from an adult.

5. When I have a good time I often do stupid, annoying things, that I later regret and hate myself for, causing me to feel all my happiness is fake.

6. Sometimes I feel like humans are all evil and worthy of death, other times I feel compassion for all suffering people.

7. Some days I want to have a depressing future, other days a wholesome one
