Clinging to Guns and Religion

OK so i want to clean out my engine with seafoam since i bought it used about 2 months ago. The problem is i already changed the oil before i found out about the seafoam trick. What i am wondering is will i have to change the oil if i JUST put it in the pcv valve and the gas tank?

BTW 1999 F150 4.7L V8 scab w/ 107,XXX miles

I am changing the coolant on my truck, but i dont have any sealed containers to transport it to the disposal center. Can i put it in trash bags, and then just set those in boxes like i do with my oil, or will the coolant eat through the bags? I will of course triple bag it.

I recently bought a 1999 f150 from a dealership. The salesman did not know the extent of the modifications made to the vehicle, but it has flowmasters, k&n intake, differential cover and a few more smaller things.

I believe that it had a lift kit/leveling kit, or the torsion bars were adjusted because it stands about 3 inches higher then stock and is level, not the "nose down" stance, but i cant figure out which one. How can i tell?

Also, there are front shocks, but no front coil springs. whats up with that? Should i get coil springs added?

My friend has some land that she does not hunt on, and none of her family hunts either. She was offering to let me come up there to go deer hunting this season. Do i need to get a permit since it is private land and i have explicit permission from the landowner?

Is it not a womens choice to have sex? I can only assume that many women who have an abortion do so because they would be unable to care for a child at that particular point in time. So in a sense, pregnancy is like a punishment for them.

They made the choice to have sex, which runs the risk of getting pregnant. Just like if you choose to speed while driving you run the risk of getting a ticket. Now i am curious, can you call up the court house and tell them that you don't want to pay the ticket because it is your money; therefore it is your choice?

Just curious as to your thoughts on this argument. I am completely open to educated, thought out remarks, but will just ignore any and all ad hominem attacks.

I have my own opinion about what govt is and isn't, but was curious about how other people saw govt. So, what do you believe the role of govt should be?

Me:

1. defend our country from those who mean to do us wrong (terrorist, invaders etc.),

2. protect our rights as stipulated by the bill of rights (speech, life, firearms, etc.)

3. To HELP us protect ourselves (police and fireman). notice i said HELP, this is because i believe it is our responsibility, not the govt, to protect ourselves.

I plan on buying some land soon for the primary purpose of hunting. I also want a range and food plots and the such. Will 30 acres be enough? or should i be looking at something bigger.

I would prefer it be a little off the beaten path since that land is generally cheaper. And it will be safer the less developed an area is.

I do not really plan on using it for farming or anything, just recreation so i don't want 500, something small and manageable.

P.S. I plan on hunting with a rifle, but am not opposed to using a shotgun (shorter projectile travel).

I have always been taught by teachers and the such that there should be a "separation of Church and state". But where in the constitution does it say this, and why did they decide this was so important?

I am looking at buying the pieces "a la carte" because it seems to be less expensive that way, but i am not sure what parts i will need. do i just need an upper and a lower? Also, excluding Colt, are the other companies compatible with each other or do i HAVE to have the same company's parts throughout? Any other advice would be much appreciated!

Why is it that he is for a womens right to choose, yet will probably reverse Bush's executive decision to stop funding to the UN programs that support forced sterilization. forced means that the woman has NO CHOICE! isn't this what you guys fight so hard for? Should women only have a choice in America, and all other women shouldn't have any choice? is this not flipflop?

I am a 20 year old college student living on campus and was discussing with my liberal roommate the topic of gun control. he believes that only the gov't should have firearms and I said that i want to be able to protect myself. His response was "thats the police's job" well i stated that the police are there more to investigate and very rarely do they actually protect. and i mentioned that on campus there had been several assaults where the police DID NOT PROTECT and that things would probably be different if the person was able to protect themselves properly. his response was this "It is not your job to protect yourself." Is this what other people think??? I am amazed at his response, i wanted to start quoting the facts and figures about countries that enacted gun control and how their crime rates have risen, but once i asked "so if i hit you in the head with this lamp you would just sit there and wait for the police?" he quickly changed the subject.

My question is what are your views on Gun control, and please if you have sources quote them!

I need to prepare just a short 2 minute speech that talks about how Buddhist feel about money in the community. Do they donate to the temple, or other charities they see fit? Anything along those lines would help out a lot.

I will be buying a truck sometime next year, it will be used, but most likely 2004 or newer. I love the look of the F-150 and have heard tons of good reviews, also I own a F-250 with 200k miles and it still runs GREAT. But the Nissan Titan has more power, mainly because of a slightly larger engine. Also, I am sure that the resale value would be hurt if Ford (God forbid) goes bankrupt. So I was just wondering if anyone had any personal opinion about either of these two trucks.

The truck would mostly be my daily driver, and i will occasional take it off-road and hunting. I will probably rarely tow anything (Maybe a couple times a year, if that), and will probably haul stuff a couple times a month.

I think i am gunna go take all my money out of the banks and hide it so obama can not take it and give it to some lazy piece of **** that doesn't work. does anyone else feel the same way?

I have a 1995 Ford F-250 2wd with a 7.3 L Powerstroke diesel engine. I need to change my fuel filter and wanted to know if there was anything specific that i need to know. I know where it is located and i have a new one, but again i need to know specifics.

I have a shop manual that my brother bought when he owned the truck, but he bought one for the wrong year.

I will be buying a new vehicle in the next couple of months and wanted some advice. i drove a wrangler when i was in high school but sold it because it got bad millage on the highway (13 mpg), so i sold it and am now driving my brothers truck because he is out of the country. I love driving large vehicles and since i was born and raised in Georgia, it just feels natural. the rise in gas prices though, has cause me to re-think getting another truck. i know the advantages of having a truck (carrying capacity, towing etc.) but since i have never owned or driven a car the only advantage i know of is gas millage. i would love to hear what some of you guys think.

I am looking at getting a 2000 323i BMW and was wondering how much the repairs would be, also how many miles would it last. i need a car that would last at least another 4 years will minimal repair costs.

i hate beer, but i love the feeling of just hanging out with friends and drinking, even if its not to get drunk. is there anything i can do to make myself like it??
