I don't know why...I guess because I've always wanted a son and now I'm almost 20 weeks with one. I've seen him 3 times on sonograms, most recently on the 18th, and he's active and has a heartbeat of 156-160 all the time. I've never been told anything is wrong at the sonogram. He's measuring 3 days behind (not a big deal right?) and always hear his heartbeat and movement with the fetal doppler at home. I've felt him move for 6 weeks now...but still, how do you get over it. I'd hate to lose him...

I was going to one OB and she is awful...would not tell me the results of anything (blood, pap smear, and first sono at 12 wks.) Anyhow, so I made another appointment with someone different and told them I haven't seen anyone and it's my first prenatal visit. I'm dying to know what it is for sure because of genetic factors (I'm about 18 weeks). Would they do one if I ask, or do I need to say something else in order to get them to do it?

I'm 11 weeks 2 days, and I've got to say, the fetal doppler is such a great thing! I bought mine off ebay for $35, and I can find it when I lay on my left side. Too bad I had a little soda and oreos before I did it...he kept moving all over..left side to center.... LOL....

anyhow...is it normal for the mother's heart rate to always be elevated? I thought we were supposed to be in the 60-80ish range....but I'm like 95-110...(I bought one of those watches that reads it)....I didn't know if maybe I should worry about my asthma...ah, well. Isn't the doppler the greatest? To my calculations, his heart rate is 162..

I had a tooth break on the 23rd while I was brushing my teeth. (I was supposed to get it pulled since a cvity got under the filling) but found out I was pregnant. I'm a little over 10 weeks, but the pain is unbearable. It's starting to radiate to my ear and up my temple. I can't sleep. What should I do? I've had the wax with benzo caine in there, but I had to think that it might hurt the baby.

I was at my sister's house and tickling my niece as I was putting her to bed. On accident, she kicked me in the stomach. I am 9 weeks, 5 days pregnant. Should I be worried? I don't know where the baby is in there...so...yeah

and also, I've had this tightness in my bellybutton area. Is that normal? Thanks.

Okay, I may just be a little paranoid (who isn't when they are pregnant? lol). When I first found out, I used a few different tests cause I didn't believe the result, and the "pregnant" line would always pop up immediately (when I tested I was allready almost 6 weeks). Now I'm almost 9 weeks, and I'm afraid of losing this. Been under alot of stress because my boyfriend wants to be a royal jerk. Anyhow, I used the "Answer" brand, and it didn't come up immediately like all the others, maybe like 30 seconds? I wonder if that means something bad? I won't get to my appointment until I'm 13 weeks :( Thanks.

I've posted before about the whole fake marriage my boyfriend has with that african bimbo. he was afraid to do anything more with her immigration thing, and i'm thinking now i have a good reason for him not to. would the government doing the immigration stuff know he has a kid with someone who's not her and see it's a sham marriage? i'm pregnant with his kid (not due until june-july, though) and he doesn't know yet. but i figured it would be another good reason to dump that dumbas* out of our lives. what do you think? please don't be mean...you don't know the situation...just tell me yes or no?

Before I was pregnant, I swear I could look at food and gain weight. Now that I'm pregnant, I've been eating more and more and only gained 2lbs that I know of. Is it weird or what? I'd think that it would be more than that?

on monday i went to the clinic to confirm two positive home tests. they did so and told me to come back dec 2 for my ultrasound. i have yet to tell my boyfriend. we've been together 4 years, but he didnt want kids because he has muscular dystrophy and if we have a girl, she'd have it. he didnt want that to happen. i don't know how far along i am yet because i honestly can't remember my last period. should i wait until dec 2 or later (maybe on my birthday, dec 4?) to tell him or rather show him (the sonogram pic?) i am so afraid of him leaving me or cheating on me later on. (btw, i'm 25 and he's 34). or should i just tell him now? i've only told my older sister who this has happened to, twice. any suggestions? (and please be nice....i didnt plan on being pregnant)

Okay, I got a letter last week that said I was QMB qualified starting November 1st, 2009. I even got a Medicaid card thatys QMB on it. I was also qualified for the program that pays just Medicare part B premiums from June 1, 2009 to October 31st, 2009.

My thing is.....I haven't gotten SSDI to qualify, I believe. I was found disabled in Feb. Got SSI till August, then that started my real SSDI benefits. Tried to get Medicaid back and that's what I received.

Here's the kicker---

I went to the ER today and I told the lady to wipe out my employer's insurance since I was in a car accident and he was gonna pay. She said it popped up that I ahve Medicare (and that my number was my social plus 'a') and Medicaid. I showed her my card for the QMB thingie, but I don't know. I never got a Medicare card and it says on the SSA.GOV site I don't get it.

I had TRICARE through my dad almost all my lief because he was military. I was in the Navy two months, but let go for medical reasons.

a friend uses my mailing address and gets stuff here. since the last year, been noticing we aren't getting some mail. apparently she ordered credit cards and they were taken. we live in hurst and someone used her card in lake worth at a walmart for $30. if it's for so little, will the police do anything? and what about surveillance at walmart?

Okay, he was dating this african chick like 5-6 years ago. she's from some poor country there and immigrated here. he felt bad for her so he said he'd only marry her ot get her to be a us citizen, that's it. they married in july 04. they had their interview ALONG time ago...years ago. and now she's claiming that she was denied (why not appeal?) and they have to reapply. they have to re-do the interview and ****, and take pictures and "be together". i'm all for her being deported. i'm from canada, but i got mine LEGALLY. my boyfriend is trying to go along with it. but when i came home at 6am today form work he started CRYING, and this is a man who never cries. (only once, when his brother died. not even when his mom did at age 11). anyhow, he doesn't want to but feels like he should because "she's a nice person". big deal, right? i don't want him to be in trouble. i want her to leave us the hell alone. i don't want to see my poor baby in such anguist. any thoughts? (oh yeah, won't the gov't know that she don't live her cause i'm on ssdi and i told him it was just him and me...we have a bank account together...most of the bills at the house are in my name, etc)...so wouldn't they know something's up?

i've always been in my siblings' shadows (i'm 5th of 11, and i have a twin sister) and i've always been put down. everyone always comments on my youngers sisters (21, 19, 18) and my older (28) on how attractive they are....and my parents and grandparents tell them they should model or work at hooters (LOL) but anyhow....so i need to figure out how to rebuild my confidence and self-esteem. my boyfriend tries to help some, but it isn't working. any ideas? and please be nice....

my boyfriend's best friend was stupid and now is involved with two married ladies. they haven't done anything so far other than him getting bjs from one of them...he kept saying it was wrong. my boyfriend told him that he might as well go through with it if he's all ready done it. does that mean if someone makes a tiny advance on him and he does it, he'll go all the way? why are guys such dumba*sses? (we've been together almost 4 years)....any input that is serious would greatly be appreciated...

Okay...don't tell me to mind my own business cause it has to do with me. My boyfriend apparently married this dumbass African woman in 2004 to get her to be a citizen. I'm sick of her ruining our lives. He's lied to me and tells me she's just a friend, but I found the marriage document. She uses our address for all this **** and even put his name on their bank account. I want her to be deported ASAP or go to jail or something. I think it's ridiculous she thinks she can do this and get away with it....what do I do?

i have had pneumonia for the last 5 weeks. been on 4-5 different antibiotics(yea it's bacterial. they looked under a microscope and saw them). why hasn't it cleared up? i thought it lasted 2-3 weeks. i really can't breathe and it sucks. i have asthma as well, but that doesn't make it stay longer right?

i'm currently receiving ssi and had two questions aboutmedicaid since i know it's 'automatically' given to us. 1) when will i receive my medicaid card. i received my award letter yesterday and a letter from medicaid saying they can pay for medical bills accrued in dec and jan, but i got no card to verify i have it. it said medicaid start date: 2/09/09 on the letter. should i go to the office and check on it?

2) i'll be getting on ssdi starting in august (after my 5 month period) and since medicare doesn't kick in till 2 years from that, will i still be eligible for medicaid? ic ouldn't find any income tables. i know i'm getting 850 from ssdi, and i make 209 gross at my job every month. any help is greatly appreciated!

I received a call from my case worker on Thursday, 16 April, who talked to my roommate and then to me. I believe she said I was found disabled after questioning him about finances. So, if so, when will I receive the cheque (and backpay) and Medicaid? I applied in Jan and won on first try (amazing.....). I really need the Medicaid to go to the doctors...so...any suggestions?
