  • Upgraded to IOS5 and lost absolutely everything?

Finally upgraded my 3Gs to IOS5 and everything is gone-notes, pictures, contacts, music everything. What's even better? When I tried to sync my phone with my Mac laptop-the phone isn't even recognized in iTunes....where the icon of your phone usually appears in the left hand column of iTunes? It's not there. Any suggestions or help? Anything is welcome!!!

  • Bad wheel bearing '08 Pontiac G6?

For about a week my car has been making a noise- it's gradually gotten louder and has evolved into the same noise it made when the front drivers side wheel bearing needed to be changed last year. I can't get an appointment to get it changed until Nov 3rd, and NOT driving is not an option as I have classes during the week and have to get my daughter to preschool-my husband cannot drive us where we need to go as his school/work schedule conflicts with mine. Is there anyway to know it's too bad to drive on ie: excess vibration, noise changes tune, etc. Thanks.

  • Whining noise/2008 Pontiac G6?

About a week ago, my car began making a whining noise, like a prop engine airplane, when I accelerate. It starts around 20mph and doesn't stop until I go under that. When I brake the tone lowers and it *sounds* worse, although I know that's just my perception of the tone. The noise sounds like it's coming from the front of my vehicle, but not from the wheels-about a year ago I had the front drivers side wheel bearing replaced because of the noise it made, so I know it's not that-this sounds very different, no major vibration and the tone is higher this time. It has 69k miles on it, and the oil was changed a little over 4k miles ago (I change mine every 5k, the dealer said that was perfectly fine). So-any ideas?

  • Terribly clogged sinuses?

All of my sinuses are terribly clogged at the moment and have been for two days. I've eaten spicy food, taken steamy showers and used salt water nasal spray, and those remedies have really only worked for about an hour. I'd LOVE to sleep at some point tonight, so my question is: Does anyone know a natural home remedy (I try to avoid putting medication in my body) to 'unclog' my sinuses for more than a couple hours? Advice is very appreciated! Thank you!

  • USMC uniform regulations (dress blues female)?

I have a wedding to attend in November and the bride is my best friend. She wants me to wear my Blues but the thing is, by the time I attend the wedding, I'll have passed my EOS. Can I still wear my uniform to the wedding, or is it just formal government events where I can wear it now? I've scanned the MCO, but I haven't found anything specifically pertaining to this--and honestly, I don't feel like picking through it a third time. Anyone know off of the top of their head? Thanks.

  • What's wrong with my cat?

My 2 year old female cat constantly overgrooms herself and always has diarrhea (consistency of the ice cream that comes out of self serve machines). She has groomed herself down to the skin in some spots, but otherwise seems happy and healthy. She eats just fine drinks just fine etc. I brought her to the vet a few months ago and he gave me a 'bowel easer' medicine...it worked for about 4 days and then her feces was back to normal. Should I just leave it and chalk it up to cats being easily stressed? Like I said, other than the small bald patches (size of a dime or smaller) and the poop, she's a very happy cat.

  • Huge Crush on Professor?

I'm a 26 y/o heterosexual female with a wonderful fiance and a 4 y/o daughter, I lead a very normal life, except that I have developed a MASSIVE crush on one of my female professors-she's in her early 40's and single (and gorgeous). I know for a fact that she's a lesbian and there was tension all throughout the semester, i.e. smirks, smiles, winks, making jokes about the other, we all but threw rocks at each other on the playground. ;) There was all of the body language expected to be found b/w two people who are attracted to one another. Now that the semester is over, I find that I cannot get this lovely lady out of my head, and I've spoken to my fiance about it. He's a wonderful, wonderful man that sees no problem with and isn't intimidated by me pursuing my feelings as long as the feelings and the pursuit doesn't interfere with our relationship. I guess my question is, how do I go about pursing in a classy, respectful manner? Teaching is only her side job, she has an office in regard to her profession out in town about 15 minutes away from my home. Do I just...show up and ask her out for coffee at the risk of being rejected, send flowers to her office? I'm so lost!
