I am designing a simple amplifier for my phone. i designed one using the LM386 which is the first ive built. it was pretty simple. using a popular schematics i found online. the problem was the amp behaved differently when connected to different audio source and i realized my phone actually produced too much power at high volumes and this causes harmonic distortions. so i thought of an idea to modify the amp (Which BTW i will be doing by the way over the next few weeks). i thought about adding a voltage regulator to stabilize the input voltage from the audio jack. i wanted my amplifier to be dealing with a specified input regardless of the output of the audio jack. say for example one produces 0.5V rms, another gives 1.2v Rms, another 2.0V. i want a situation where i have a 0.7v regulator where by my amp receives a constant 07v regardless of phone output. so i know i am always working with a fixed voltage. how do i go about this??

I am trying to calculate the intensity of a sound coming from my speakers. I intend to use this for a project. Ive never done this before and what just trying to be able to put some figures to the level of noise i was hearing in order to know the desired amplification i will need for my amplifier project.

Basically i want to be able to say, i will build a small amplifier that is 80 db loud. The problem is i don't exactly know what 80db sounds like. that is why i'm trying to see if i can hear a sound and somehow be able to translate its meaning into decibels. Please Help!!

I received a monetary assistance of about $5000 from my uncle in the Netherlands who is not a US citizen. i intend on starting a small business. so i had him pay this money into a business account i just opened. up to this point i haven't had any money in this account or done any transactions whatsoever. i am mixing my own baby wipes solution. and i want it to be ultra light but have a good scent. ive added Glycerol, sodium laureth (foaming agent), and fragrance. the solution smells good but its kind of pasty. i'm tempted to add water to dilute it but im afraid adding water will make it less volatile. i want it to be able to evaporate quickly. i considered adding alcohol but i'm guessing it will be more expensive over a priod of time. im looking at starting my own small scale scented wipes bizness. your contribution will be well appreciated. thank you.
