MY husband and i have been married for a year and 3 months. No children together, however 2 step-kids from his ex. I have put up money for his custody appearances, i buy all the groceries in the house, his smokes, and pay for most leisure activities. he and i have recently started going downhill, and all i can wonder is, "is this normal?" If i want to dye my hair, he has to pick the color. I want to lose weight but he refuses to let me take diet pills, but says he will "let me" lose 20lbs ( says he is concerned for my health, but i am 5'5 and 240 lbs.... i need help) He wont let me take overnight trips with my girls.. because he refuses to "be in that bed alone" . He denies sex for days at a time.. using it as a tool to make me feel bad. ..... If i spend any money on myself or want to take a night to do something alone, he says that im not putting my family first...

I am at my wits end... so, i made a therapy appointment for marriage counseling and asked him to come.... his response was " why did you make it on a tuesday? why does it have to be convienient to your schedule?"

I am so sick of being put down, and walked on. this cant be normal.

i cant focus real well when i am listening, and when it comes time for me to explain how i feel, i always dig myself into a hole. i can never just be cut and dry about a subject.

what are some communication tips that you keep in mind when you are trying to express a point to your significant other..etc?

When i was around the age range of 11-12 years old, i consented to sexual acts with an 18-19 year old man. I did not understand the permanent emotional effects it would have on me at the time and in a sick way, i thought it was boosting my self-esteem. I was not mature enough to understand allot of what he asked me to do. do you think 12 and 18 is a huge age gap? I feel wrong, or almost like a tattle-tale for seeking help now after 10 years has past, but my husband insists that somewhere along the line it scarred me, and i think i could be in denial aout it....

when my husband told me that he researched the (abuser) i was in shock, but i came to the (abusers) defense and told my husband that it was just as much my fault as it was the (abusers)...is it normal to blame yourself in this way?.....gosh i am confused about this.

i have been married for 4 months, and our intimacy level went from 6 times a week, down to once a week, i require alot of clitoral stimulation, and he says it makes him feel like he cant do anything for me, therefore he would rather not have sex at all. I tell him i need him, and i ask for sex all the time, but he acts like i am such a burden..like he is discouraged because he alone cant bring me to climax. i know it may be too much information, but how can i let my husband know that i truly enjoy intimacy with him...and it's truly just how my body works.

( they were never married, he tried to stay for the kids) ... anyway... she found a picture of me on the dash of his truck and she is going crazy... i have never had to deal with this type of thing before and im not sure how to handle it..... i definately dont want to leave him.. AT ALL.... i am attached to him and his kids, but im such a non-confrontational person...and i hate drama... i just need a little help on how to reassure him that i aont leave, and how to keep the ex baby-mama off my back??.......any suggestions??

well, i have about 15 bucks to make it all this weekend till monday at lunch when i get my paycheck..... i am so broke.. and this scares me, so i am willing to do whatever to make some cash. ( all options must be legitimate)

he was never married to the EX, but has 2 children with her. he has JOINT custody, ... I am scared that he may possibly be looking for someone to fill the shoes of a "stepmom". but i am crazy about him!!

brent and i have been dating for around 4 years, we recently went through some tough times, where we were on again off again.... finally we got back together, and everything has been fine for a time period of about 3 weeks. In this time period i have met a man who is slightly older, quite a bit more attractive, and definately more settled..although he has 2 small children, 6, and 3 yoa.

I am completely freaked out by the things he and i have in common, and i am torn between the thought of possibilities with a new man, or the same stability with the one i have....I am 21, in college, work a full time job, and have no kids. brent is 19, a little less mature,works full time, and steven is 26, works full time, has joint custody of his 2 children.....ugh. this is a hard situation to deal with, and i always have "the grass is greener syndrome"....

My fiance and i have been together for over 4 years, about 2 years ago he started playing a PC game called diablo....at that time i thought very little about it, and now it is ruining our relationship??.....he plays for about 4-8 hours a day...he litterally wakes up-goes to work-comes home-plays diablo...and goes to bed..!! i am so frustrated! i have tried everything...a calm talk, to even threatening our relationship..what now?

honestly, which do you think is more valuable...education or experience? i have met tons of people who have invested thousands into higher education...and they have no common sense. and I have met lots of people who have never set foot in a college...but they are highly successful and very inteligent, all from experience, so what do you think. and whats your reasoning.

I get anywhere from 5-8 sinus infections a year, I keep bronchitis (but have recently quit smoking), and i get around 4+ yeast infections a year. recently i have noticed that the muscles in my neck are extreemely tight and painful, not to mention it is worsened due to my present sinus infection.

I really don't understand why i stay so sick...all the time. if you know what this sounds like, If you think it's abnormal, or if you experience the same conditions, please let me know.

is there anything i can do to ease the tension and the knots in my neck. i work as a 911 operater and between typing and holding a phone to my ear...i have killer muscle tension!

i personally believe that if you were whitnessed commiting a crime, you should pay equally for that crime. you steal from me..i steal from you. you kill a person...you be killed.

people who sit in jails, are using our tax money....we are paying for them to eat 3 meals a day, and hang out with their cell mates.

does anyone think it is a little strange that law enforcement, first responders, EMT's and fire fighters, go out everyday to risk our lives so that others may live.

but only make a very low salary....some deputy's are at 25k a year.

yet, a major league baseball player can walk up to a plate and swing a bat 3-4 times a week and gross millions of dollars a year?

how can any person see this as fair?

why doesn't the government do something for those of us who bust our tails, working crazy hours and training for hours on end?

i'll be getting hitched soon, and i believe i am just having cold feet, but i would like to know what you worried about concerning your relationship, before you said "i do".

i am so preoccupied on how bad things would be if we ever had to have a divorce..ect.....lemme know what some of your area's of concern were...and if your worries were justified in the long run.

my 2 year old black lab is constantly sneaking in and eating up my canned cat food...also, she will go into our kitchen trash and take out the empty cans ...drag them into the day room and lick them clean.....i can't figure out how to stop her from doing this??

and what draws her to the CAT food???

i am really having a hard time finding a product that eliminates cat odor...."nala" went through a stint of going on the carpet...and now every time i come home i can smell cat...all through the house? i have tried candles, air freshener,febreeze...ect. i'm just looking for something a little more effective, and cost is not an issue

any suggestions?

i mean really, i am 188 right now, what would be the incintive for me to lose weight....i don't see any "up's" to being skinny, or is their something that little people don't talk about?

i have some skinny friends who hate it...say they would give good money to have my curves and round tush....
