I ve recently started learning Spanish with a goal to be fluent within the next four years. However, I ve come across my first banana skin since starting a couple of months ago. I ve seen two definitions for the word "siento" (or lo siento), one translating to "I feel" and the other translating to "I m sorry". I ve also seen the word "sorry" defined as "triste", but I m struggling to understand which one to use where. Could a native Spanish speaker or someone fluent in the language help me out? I don't do research into the categories defining atheist, agnostic and theist because I refuse to accept the fact that people are categorized in such a manner, but I never know what to class myself as when people ask me what my religious views are. I don't believe in the existence of God simply because I can't wrap my head around believing in something I cannot see, nor have I ever seen (and, in my opinion, never will see). Having said that, I still respect people who do believe and, if they choose to do so, have intriguing discussions regarding belief. Does the pure fact that I don't believe in God make me an atheist? Or are atheists a lot more self-centered in terms of slating religious people for their beliefs (something I don't condone of)?
