  • how to get candle wax out of fur?

My kitten stepped in a candle and got wax in the fur on her feet. She is fine, the candle had been blown out for some time and I believe the wax was barely warm, and she didn't cry out or anything so I think it didn't hurt. But now she has wax stuck in the short fur around her toes. Any advice on getting it out?

  • Can my new kitten spread worms to my dog and/or guinea pig?

I just rescued a homeless kitten last week. She is about 8 or 9 weeks old. I was able to get her into the vet today and the vet thinks she might have worms. I have her on vet prescribed meds now.

Since I brought the kitten home last week, she has used her own litter box, and her own food bowl, although my dog has gotten into the food from the bowl a couple of times while my back was turned.

She has also been in contact with my guinea pig. They have laid next to each other and he bit her once and I think she may scratched him once but I'm not totally sure.

I haven't actually seen any worms, the vet just suspects she has them because how her belly feels.

Could either my guinea pig or dog have worms now?
