i have hundreds of photographs and their transparent negatives.
I want to scan them, and save as digital.
Will i get much better results scanning the negatives, as opposed to the photos?
(assuming i have a scanner capable of scanning transparences).
P.S.
Can you recommend a scanner that you have used for this purpose?

i was watching the Animal Channel, and a dog who had outgrown the chain around his neck. The chain was enbeded in the meat.
Vets were digging and cutting the chain's links out with bolt-cutters.

FOR a 160 gig usb external drive.
The drive will never be used as a boot drive.
It will only be used for file storage.
The 4gig file size-limit on fat32 is not a concern.
