If someone owes you a significant amount of money and they pass away, how long is a reasonable amount of time to wait before you approach their family to ask for the money?
Not talking petty cash here

1 AnswerTVs9 years agoHow can I surprise my mum on holiday?
It's my mums 50th this summer and she was planning on going abroad for a nice holiday with the whole family (Mum, Dad, me and younger brother). As im 19 i havnt been on holiday with them for a few years and thought it would be nice to go but unfortunately couldn't get the time off work. Because of this my family then change their plans and decided to go to the resort they go to every year as normal and do something fancier later in the year. Recently i managed to get the time off work and have booked a last minute flight out there to surprise my mum on her birthday and spend the week with my family. I have already got her a nice present but is there another way i can surprise her?
I'm looking for an out of the box idea, open to all suggestions
If your a mother of a teenager what would be a nice surprise for you?
Please help me out
1 AnswerOther - Holidays9 years agoI want to suprise my parents on holiday...?
I'm 18 yr old guy and have been going to the same resort on holiday with my family (mum, dad, brother aged13) for the last 4 years and have made many good friends there. This year my parents said they would not be going back so i decided to book to go back there again but stay with the friends that i made from there but never got round to telling my parents about it. My brother has now pursuaded them to go back again this year but i have now decided not to tell any of them about my holiday at all. They will be in london at the olympics on the day i fly out so they will not even know when i go and only find out when they fly out 3 days later.
How can I take advantage of this situation and suprise them?
Im looking for a completely out of the box idea, any suggestions?
3 AnswersOther - Holidays9 years agoWhy do people rely on Yahoo answers so much?
Why do people ask trivial things on here when it is clearly easier to google the question and get an instant and reliable answer on there?
Obviously this excludes personal, relationship advice or opinionated questions.
1 AnswerYahoo Answers9 years agoShould I keep trying with her or give up?
Im 19 and i met this girl, 16, at a mates party. She is friends with my mates sister. Basically we were both very drunk and ended up making out and exchanged numbers. We didn't talk at all for about 3 months until she phones me up randomly one night asking if I want to have sex with her but she was clearly drunk so i declined. We texted the next day and she appologised but said she still really wanted to meet up as she 'missed me'. we've been texting on and off ever since, i want to meet with her and keep suggesting this and she agrees but always seems to be busy with other friends. I dont want to keep texting and feel like im pestering her but at the same time i dont want to stop. She keeps saying she wants to see me but any time i mention how busy she always is she just stops texting until i strike up a conversation a few days later. Is she nervous because of the age difference? or is she just genuinly busy all the time? Is there a better way i can get her to meet up with me?

3 AnswersOther - Holidays9 years agoHow can i test my camera is waterproof?
I bought a waterproof camera but unfortunately it got damaged (cracks on the casing) and wondered if you know a way to test if its still waterproof without actually putting it in water (as this may break it if turns out to be no longer waterproof)
