Hey guys

I have an HP laptop that has served me very well for about a year, however, out of nowhere I developed a problem. Just the other day, I turned it on and it took about 15 minutes (which is really unusual) and after that, it came to my desktop but essentially froze. I started up the task manager which took a few minutes, and I couldn't click anything there either. I restarted the computer multiple times, and keep having the same problem. I started it in safe mode and ran AVG and Super Anti Spyware, but it didn't change anything. I rebooted it one final time and it miraculously worked for about a day, then froze up again, needing to be rebooted and having to go through the same process.

So is this a hardware issue? Or does it sound like some sort of virus? I really have no idea where to go with this.

Hey guys! I'm trying to render my video to a WMV format, but it's not there! I've got the choices of a bunch of other settings (like avi, mp4, mov, etc) but no wmv... Whenever I render my video, I only get audio and no video, so a friend suggested I try converting it to WMV. Any other suggestions?

Hey there! I'm trying to create a game where you can click little hearts that make a counter go up every time you click them. Somehow, every tutorial I find doesn't work.

I want to be able to have a heart on the stage and a counter on the side. When you click the heart, it dissappears and the counter moves up to 1. Then as the game progresss, there will be more hearts you can click on and the ticker goes up all the way to about 20. It doesn't matter if the player finds them all in the end.

Can someone please help? I'm using Flash CS5 with Actionscript 2~

I bought some fashion contacts from thebodyjewelleryshop.com a few months ago and love them! They were perfect and brought out my halloween costume awesomely... I also use them for cosplaying, and I'm going to be going to a con in a few weeks and really want to know what's wrong with them. I opened my case and my contacts were growing some sort of clear/white gel in the middle as if they were "drying up"... It looks like burned plastic - all bunched up and such. I tried running them under warm water, cleaning them with the sterilyzation liquids, and even lightly scratching the surface, but nothing's working.

Has anybody else had a problem like this? I'm not a prescription-contact wearer, so I'm really new at all this. Thanks for your help!

I really love it. A lot. But I'm utterly confused with many things.

I watched the anime recently (All the way up to episode 73, the newest one's supposed to come out today...) and read the original comic to compare, and I had some questions.

Is THIS (http://sites.google.com/site/hetaliainde%E2%80%A6 The original series? Like, what inspired it all? Only 1-6 here, or am I missing something?

And to my understanding, that's just the comic. The Manga has like 3 volumes. Am I right about that? >< Lol

I'm just utterly confused cause everyone's talking about countries that weren't in the anime (and I'm assuming they have big roles in the manga and comic) like Hong Kong and Thailand and such. Also, everyone seems to obesess over Prussia who had like one part in the anime lol.

ANYWAYS. If someone can help me out here, I'd be eternally grateful.

...Also, my favorite character is Russia, and in the anime he's nowhere near as evil as he is portrayed in the manga (APPARENTLY, just getting this from other fans). I read over how the water pipe thing played out, but it seems like everyone's really exaggerating how evil he is. I WANT TO SEE WHAT HE DOES TO MAKE HIM SO EVIL! XD

Hey there, I would really appreciate it if somebody could explain the steps to this problem.

I'm missing an entire section somewhere here, obviously, because I keep getting the wrong answer.

Is it Consistent. Dependent or inconsistent? The answer will be a set of Coordinates.

I have just recently installed Windows 7 extreme edition on this computer (whereas before it had Windows 7 home edition) and I believe they both had WMP 12. My PS3 had streamed perfectly through the connection and worked without any problems, but ever since I switched over, I've been unable to connect. I've disabled firewalls, installed PS3 Media Server, and have gone through "sharing settings" tutorials on Youtube and PS3 forums, but nothing helped. Does anybody have an answer/advice for me?

This is somewhat complicated. Just last night our internet starting acting all wacky. None of our laptops or other desktops can connect to the main computer, but the main computer has a perfect connection ONLY in Firefox. The icon at the bottom right hand of the screen displays the picture that looks like a computer and an Ethernet cord, and when I click it, it gives me two connections, one of which I'm using. This connection on other computers displays the connection, but it is locked with a password for some odd reason (whereas before it was not). The name of the connection also changed - instead of "linksys", it is now "Our-PC". We can ONLY use Firefox... I tried messing with the Proxy settings on the other browsers and stuff, but nothing changed.

I also tried resetting the computers, resetting the router, unplugging cords and all that but to no avail. It seems like it would be a problem with Windows or something...

I have absolutely no idea what to do, can someone please help out? Thank you so much in advance.

Hey I have an HP Pavillion dv6000 laptop that was "built for gaming" apparently... I know it might be somewhat out of date (give or take a few years) but it's got a geforce 8400M GS graphics card and 3 gigs of RAM... and my Processor is Intel(R) Core (TM)2 Duo CPU T5550 @ 1.83GHz.

I want to be able to play games like Oblivion Elder Scrolls IV and Fallout 3 and The Sims 3 and stuff, but everytime I try, it lags up and becomes almost unplayable. I've tried deleting processes in the background but it didn't work.

What would I need to improve in my computer? Is it a graphics card, processor or RAM problem? if so, what would you suggest? Thank you so much for your time!

I'm sure I have all the drivers installed... When I turn on my netbook, it connects to the internet for about 5 minutes, (I can browse and stuff) then disconnects and says that there are no connections available. When I try troubleshooting, it tells me to reset my router... But that doesn't work. The icon in the bottom right hand corner shows the 5 bars but instead of being filled in, they are emptied with a red cross over it, and I have no option but to troubleshoot. Is this a driver problem? What should I do?

I just upgraded from Windows 7 Starter edition to Ultimate edition, but my resolution is only letting me choose 800x600... I'm using an Acer Aspire One netbook so my resolution should be something a bit wider but I can't choose it in the display tab as I'm only given one option. Does this have something to do with my video card? Because I tried to update my drivers and nothing happened. Please help?!

I went onto Amazon.com and bought two All-in-One Travel Power Plug Adapters that convert into adapters for US to UK usage, but my mom informed me that the volt electricity is doubled over there and some of her electronics melted because of it! I'm going to want to bring over a laptop, curling iron and phone charger for the most part, will these protect my electronics?

Hey guys, I have a desktop that I'm trying to connect to the internet, but I just completely reformatted the whole thing and put windows 7 on it (whereas it had Vista on it before). My computer is an:

ACER ASPIRE ASE380-UD440A DESKTOP PC WITH 2.2GHz AMD Athlon 64 X2 4400+, 2GB DDR2, 320GB, DVD±RW DL

...Yeah. I connected it directly with an ethernet cable to the router and it still didn't detect anything. Could the new OS installation be a cause of this? What should I do?

I've been watching .avi files on my PS3 for a year now with no problem, and all of a sudden they don't work with one series I'm trying to watch.

I Googled my problem and really don't understand what's going on. Apparently the .avi files have old Codecs or something, I'm not sure if I'm using that in the right context, but I would love to figure out what's going on! Somebody told me that the PS3 uses different codecs but not all of them... but I tried converting them and using the PS3 Media server but I don't know where to go from there.

Hello, I have a problem with my HP DV6000 Laptop.

Yesterday, it was working perfectly fine. Somehow overnight, it developed some sort of parasite (I'm assuming), and upon startup, everything freezes and I get an error that's titled "Rundll.32 Bad Image' and claims that it's not a "valid image file that Windows can read." I have Avast Antivirus installed and had it go through a virus scan, but it stopped in the middle and hasn't done anything since. I CANNOT start up in Safe Mode, or else my computer gets the "blue screen" and reboots, asking me how I want to run Windows. Is there anything I can do at all to get rid of this virus? All help is appreciated, thank you for your time.

I know I could sell them online, but could I sell them to a Pet's Mart or any store of that sort? This is just out of curiosity, I've already sold mine to a good home.
