  • We have an unexpected rooster, How can we get rid of him?

There is really no need for him, we have 4 various breed hens that are just kept for hobby. But our neighbor's rooster has come through the woods and stayed with our hens instead of theirs, probably because we have a larger range for them to pick around in. We kept him through the Winter in our coop, which wasn't a huge problem but now its nice and we want to let our hens run around and pick at the horses manure, and the rabbits droppings... so we let the whole gang out and I can't walk around our barn and work with the horses without being run off by the rooster. We were told by a fellow rooster-owner to not make eye contact, but even when I try to completely ignore him, he stays 6 feet behind us acting aggressively and the first second you take a quick glimpse, he just freaks out and chases you down!!

What can we do to get rid of him? WE DON'T WANT TO KILL HIM because he's a beautiful bird that's HUGE! Can we give him to a like ASPCA or something? I'd hate to give them one more thing to worry about, but we just simply can't stand him! Our local bird rescuer just recently passed away of old age.

  • Why are so many western horses shown in Hunter?

I notice a lot, almost all, horses who compete in western arena events like western pleasure, also show in Hunter in Hand or something similar. Why? is it a similar body type? so they can just get more showing on the horses record?

    Just curious. Thanks :)

  • Why is my computer playing noise in my Earphones & Speakers?

    I have a Toshiba laptop, Windows 7, I think its a Satellite.

I have the volume on, I plug in the headphones, I hear sound through them, But I also hear it through my laptops built in speakers! why? they were working just yesterday.

The laptop is brand new, newest model etc.

Is it a setting? my headphones? because I have tried a couple of different ones, and it still plays both ways. I also blew on the earphone jack to see if it was dust, and wiped the plug with my shirt.

    Thanks.

  • What disciplines do Hackney Horse & Ponies Excel at?

Hi! Thanks you very much if you seriously answer this for me :)

What type of events other than carriage do hackneys excel at? Just curious, I have heard they are good jumpers because of their knee-flex ratio, but what about dressage? cross country? anything else?

  • Stable Name Variations?

I am choosing a Stable name, I already know the 'main' title, But I can't choose an ending. By Ending I mean Stable, Ranch, Acres....

My Name is: Snowshoe [Ending Here]

What sounds better? I was considering Equestrian Center, or even Centre to be more fancy sounding. It will be mostly English disciplined stable

So pretty much what I am asking is tell me either more Ending Ideas, or what sounds better, or both. Thanks!

  • What crosses quality for a horse to be a American warmblood?

ok, so I never understood the Warmblood's situation, I saw someone had their horse listed as a "Registered American Warmblood" then next to it is had "(Appaloosa x Hanoverian)" Is the Hanoverian mixed in quality enough sport horse to become a Am. Warmblood? What other breed qualifies a appaloosa or paint as a sport horse or warmblood? I have heard TB, but I am not quite understanding the way it goes. Can anybody like list out some crossed that would qualify as a AM.WB.? Thanks alot!
