1 AnswerToys8 years agoP=0.05, What does this question mean?
Q) A statistical test showed that the difference between the two frequencies of the t allele was significant at the P = 0.05 level.
Use the terms probability and chance to help explain what this means.
I dont understand how to go through this, first off I dont understand what the P value means,
Is it something to do with the probability of the null hypothesis??
What if the P value is below or above the P value??
Thanks!

1 AnswerMathematics8 years agoMechanic Question Involving acceleration?
Albert and Bella are both standing in a lift.
The mass of the lift is 250kg. As the lift moves upwards with constant acceleration, the floor of the lift exerts forces of magnitude 678N and 452N respectively on Albert and Bella. The tension in the cable which is pulling the lift upwards is 3955N.
a) Find the acceleration of the lift
b) Find the mass of Albert
c) Find the mass of Bella
I dont know how to do this, please explain!
Thanks!
1 AnswerPhysics8 years agoVoltage, SIMPLE QUESTION?
(Im someone who hardly does any physics, but stuck in a situation where I have to learn a bit of voltage for chemistry)
I've been looking around and gathered information about some terms to define voltage.
Voltage is the difference in energy that a units worth of electrons in one area has compared to another area.... or it is the pressure that pushed electrons.
so heres the question
Is this true?
The higher the voltage:
The greater the difference in energy, or amount of electrons.
The greater the pressure, or the rate at which electrons are transported to another location?

1 AnswerBiology9 years agoTissue fluid help!, also what is a Lymph? AQA Biology Unit 2?
I understand that there is two forces acting on the blood vessels.
Hydrostatic pressure and Osmotic pressure. At the near end of the capillary, the hydrostatic forces are greater in one end than the other?
So how can the tissue fluid be returned at the end where there is high blood pressure?
Does CO2, the waste product diffuse into the capillary or does it get carried in tissue fluid?
Does Oxygen get carried in tissue fluid or just naturally diffuse into tissues from the capillary?
What is the function of the Lymph?, or a similar question
What exactly is the lymphatic system?
Please explain things as simply as possible :), for i am stupid.
