Hi, just about to start a construction job in NY and am trying to figure out what I need to buy. Steel toe boots and a hard hat is a given I guess but is there anything else I'm missing? I know employers are supposed to provide some PPE on the job. Cheers guys!

I will be spending the summer in New York and want to get down to Arkansas for a few days to see an old friend of mine. What do you reckon is the cheapest/best way to get there? I'm only 21 so renting a car might not be an option with insurance costs and what not

hi there, currently i student studying history and politics ad its really not my think. I'm almost finished my second year and i have been a profoundly average student to date scoring 2:2 grades and below because i just dont put the work in because im just not that interested if i am honest with myself. I am quite intelligent I got 565 leaving certificate points and was top of my class all the way through school. so im a bit of a college failure. so what, who cares? when i started college in 2010 i was doing a course in business and economics and then changed within a few months to my current course and yet i am still an underachiever. What I would really like to be doing if i am honest with myself is playing music. its always been a passion and part time job and im almost finished recording my debut ep. its work that has long hours, in studios or at gigs, but its work i am happy to do and have always put the time in. i am very confused by my disposition towards college given that my academic record is so good and im in the top college/points bracket in my country yet i really dont care about third level education. I would love to be working at music full time. i dont care if i dont earn lots of money for a while or ever at all in the future. its just what i feel i will give my best to. now the catch is, my parents, who are always supportive would be sad for me more so than disappointed if i left college. i would also feel like id be giving them a kick in the teeth. secondly, i can never go back to college in the future if i leave now because i would have to pay full fees if i returned.

Im not going to ramble much further because its boring and its a pretty common situation/story. I would appreciate, however, any advice you have for me! many thanks!

Do you remember a specific time in your past that is evoked when you here certain songs or even smell certain smells? Even old tv shows or movies? More specifically, is there a certain time like a year that you hold on to. for me 1998 is a year i can remember for personal reasons and sometimes memories are triggered when i come across the above things. I wish i could remember more from that year and before but ive only a few precious memories.

People who became visually impaired later in life perhaps have some images from their earlier life to draw on but what about people who have never seen trough their eyes? do images still form in their dreams? even if they do, is it possible for them to describe them?

Hi there, I am an Irish student (studying in Ireland) and want to live and work in Canada, probably in Toronto, during the summer holidays next year (from June till september maximum). Do i need to get a visa or any other documentation in order to do this? Whats the best way to to go about doing this? many thanks lads!

Ive checked my college's website and its admission requirements section says you must have an honours undergrad degree in law or 'law-based interdisciplinary degree. when i finish my undergrad course with a joint honours degree in history and political science, would i be eligible for admission into a post grad program for a masters of laws degree? Hi there, headin off to indonesia for three weeks in june till sometime in july and i wanted at the end of those three weeks to visit some relations in Australia. Plan to spend about two weeks there. Obviously, i would be flying. but would i fly back to indonesia after visiting australia and catch a flight to ireland from there? or just boot on home back to Ireland from Australia? Cheers lads!

Have a gibson sg which doesn stay in tune too well. It currently has those snot green tuning heads on it with gibson deluxce on the back of em (klusons i think theyre called?) but i was wondering if i changed them to gotoh, sperzel, shaller or gotoh locking tuners would it stay in tune better?
