  • Moving to new apartment with 2 cats?

We are moving literally down the street with our two cats. Normally this wouldn't be a big deal but one kitty has issues with peeing. She pees on our bed every once in a while, and she will pee when she is really stressed. So we keep her out of the bedroom 24/7 just in case. The other cat is fine in the bedroom. We are moving into a one bed/ one bath apartment. The bathroom is located inside the bedroom. Where can I keep the cats where she can't pee on the bed but so that they are out of the way of the movers and won't run out?

    My two main concerns are:

    1. They may run out during the move

    2. If I keep one of the cats in the bedroom she will pee on our bed

I'm unsure on how to manage this, any insight you guys can provide would be great.

  • Disneyland in November?

My birthday is on Oct. 23rd and my boyfriend is taking me to Disneyland for my present. We aren't going this late in October because of the Halloween specials. I was thinking that early November sounded like it would be the least crowded.

I know that there will be no Halloween or Christmas decorations at this time, and I'm okay with that. My main concern are how long the lines will be. My bday would be perfect if there was barely any lines on the day I go. I'm thinking November 6th or 7th. What do you guys think?

  • Can you visit a Native American reservation?

I'm traveling up to Pismo Beach, CA in October and I want to visit the Chumash Casino on the way up there. I know that they have the reservation there too and I wanted to know if I can visit there. Is it like a little town open to everyone, or is it gated off? I'm assuming that they welcome tourists and their money but I want to know for sure before I make plans. Any information on the Chumash reservation would be most helpful. Thanks!!

  • Got one cat fixed, now the other won't stop growling!!?

We adopted our 1 year old female cat (Bella) about 10 months ago and she was already fixed when we took her home. We adopted our 5 month old male cat (Jack) about 4 months ago. They have been best buddies ever since. Normal cat buddy behavior such as mutual grooming, sleeping together, and playing together constantly. Today we took Jack to be fixed at the pound (its done by trust deposit, you give them $30 at the time of the adoption and sign something promising that you will bring them back when they are old enough to be fixed/spayed.) and we was gone for less than 8 hours. They were playing together before we left and when we got home they started fighting. We kept them separated for a good 3-4 hours before letting Jack into the living room with us (and Bella). Bella is acting very defensive, she is hissing, spitting, and growling deeply at Jack. Her ears are forward (not back, which is the normal stance if the cat is pissed or scared) and at times she pursues him growling and

  • Got a new kitten and my old cat now pees on my bed.?

We have a 7 mo. old kitten named Bella who we adopted about 6 months ago. 2 days ago we adopted a boy kitty and he has been "quarantined" in the bathroom to prevent our resident kitty from catching any kennel cough and to introduce them properly. Bella has been very curious about the new cat and there has been some hissing and growling from underneath the door. This is understandable. Last night while we were sleeping, Bella urinated on our bed (with us in it, YUCK!). She had an issue while she was a kitten that she would urinate on the bed (but never while we were sleeping) and after we took her to the vet we figured out she had urinary tract crystals. We gave her the prescribed medication and got her a water fountain that oxygenates the water, we also locked her out of the bedroom for 3 months. She stopped peeing and we even could let her back in the bedroom. But now that we have this new kitty, she peed again. Is this getting adjusted to the new cat? What do I do?
