Question for girls - when you first start dating?
So basically the story goes that I have a crush on this colleague who works in a different department within the same office. We were supposed to go out quite a few times but it never happened. We had lunch recently and I told her that I like her, she knew suspected that and she was keen too but now she just started dating a guy and she wants to see how things are going with him. Ok I get that it my fault I was too slow. We have talked some more about the situation so she is not really shutting me down, but basically I can't do anything - and she ask me not to - until I know how things go with the other guy.
I am wondering if something similar happened to you. Did it ever happen that you were dating somebody but you knew somebody else like you ? How did you feel about it ?
Your point of view and any tips are much appreciated (i.e. what shall I do) !
PS: I guess you feel butterflies in your stomach when you first date somebody new. Does that mean I am kinda doomed because this other guy will give her great emotions and feeling while I am here waiting ?

1 AnswerHomework Help6 years agoDo you have any clothes that you wear (or save) for special occasions ?
I am not talking about anything fancy but regular items such as jeans, shirts, jumpers and so forth.
I simply would like to know if I should keep aside and rarely wear some piece of clothing (5-6 or so) that do you great on me so that they don't get ruined if I wear them too often. Is this simply a crazy approach or do you guys (and girls) do the same for a handful of clothing items ?

2 AnswersSoftware7 years agoHow does the college gradying system works in the USA ?
Hi,
Can anyone tell me how the grading system in the US works (college level) ?
I know all about the GPA and stuff but how is the final grade calculated ? They simply add up all the grades of a student and multiply them for the weight of the paper/assignment/exam or how does that work ?
I have heard about 'inflated grades', I understand the concpet but what to they mean exactly by that ?
Many thanks!!!!
1 AnswerHigher Education (University +)7 years agoQuestion for film buffs and Sandra Bullock fans?
Hi,
I remember watching a movie a looong time ago (for sure released prior to 2005) which featured Sandra Bullock. I really can't remember much about it but what I do remember is that she was 'pestering' a guy for a job and because she was rich she was willing to work for free.
Any ideas about the title ?
Max points if you can get it right :)
3 AnswersMovies7 years agoConfusion over the meaning of 'class of 2016'?
Hi everyone,
After some digging I found out that by 'class of 2015' people mean the year when they will graduate whereas I first thought that class of 2015 it would mean then the class will actually start. Apologies but we don't use this expression where I am from.
The question is that I would like to enrol in a MBA program and I have looked up some school and they mention their 'class of 2015' or 'class of 2016'.
What I don't understand though is that I have received this message from one of the school:
We are currently accepting applications for the Class of 2016, which will begin this fall.
Now, if the course starts in the fall of 2014, wouldn't the class be called 'of 2015' considering the MBA lasts two years ?
Thanks heaps!!
1 AnswerHigher Education (University +)7 years agoAnalysing or interpreting an ex-girlfriend behaviour. Need help from girls?
Hi,
I was together with my ex girlfriend for several months. She was really into me and I was into her. She knew I was leaving for another country and a few months before my departure she broke up with me even though it was difficult for her because I am a nice guy (her words) but she didn't want that things got even more deep. I tried everything to get things back on track. I stayed an extra 6 months but it didn't help. She made me wait over month for a one on one chat (I had to ask every 7-10 days) and the chat was pleasant, after I talk she said that she knew I was leaving so she started losing feelings for me and she doesn't want to be back together. I said that's ok and if we could be friends and she agreed. A few days later I dropped her a very nice email thanking her for the time together and stuff like that, it was a page long but surely very nice and I also attached a photo of us that she probably hadn't seen but she didn't respond. We play in the same basketball club (in two different teams though) so I see her every week at training and at games. She doesn't talk to me and she doesn't look at me (even when there are team parties) and it's me who always have to make the first step and ask how she is doing.
I don't understand why she is behaving like this. I mean she broke up with me, I didn't do anything bad and neither did she during the relationship. I know she has been bitching about me to friends after we broke up (not sure why) but why is she pretending that I am not even there ?
What's your opinion ?
3 AnswersSingles & Dating9 years agoHelp with Jersey Shore episode - Ronnie and Mike talk in the car about Sammi?
Does anyone know the episode, it must be in either season 2 or 3, when Ronnie and Mike are in the car and talk about Sammi. Ronnie says something like "I still love her and care about her" and Mike The Situation says something like "You are in love with the idea of her, not necessarily what she is now".
Thanks guys :)
3 AnswersReality Television9 years agoWhen borrowing is not beneficial ? Mortgage for a house?
Hi,
I am wondering if there is a formula or a site that I can look up that answers this question.
Basically, I am wondering if borrowing $300k for a flat with a $200k deposit or borrow $500k for a bigger flat with a $200k deposit. I will live in this place.
If in 10 years time they both go up 10% I am wondering which one I am better off considering all the interest paid and debt repayment.
There must be a point when borrowing too much is no longer beneficial
2 AnswersRenting & Real Estate1 decade agoGreat songs for slide shows with pictures on travel?
I have travelled quite a bit in the past few years and I would like to put the best picture on a slide show with an appropriate song. Does anyone has any suggestion ? The songs don't have necessarily need to talk about travel but perhaps they have great lyrics/sentences in which appropriate pictures can be perfectly timed about landscape, people, love, activities, parties and so forth. Perhaps you saw something similar used in ads on TV.
So far I was thinking of:
Temper trap - sweet disposition
with lyrics such as:
A moment, a love
A dream aloud
A kiss, a cry
Our rights, our wrongs
A moment, a love
A dream aloud
A moment, a love
A dream aloud
and Aqua - Around the world (for obvious reason)
