  • Has anyone seen the movie "The God Who Wasn't There"? I'm thinking about purchasing the DVD.

If you've seen it in its entirety I'd like some honest opinions.

  • Italian-native speakers?

How do you say something akin to sweet dreams in Italian? Like when your child goes to bed?

(No online translator sites please- I could do that myself)

    Thank you in advance!

  • Catholicism for Children?

My 9 year stepdaughter was baptized Catholic at her mom's insistence. I happen to be an atheist but I would like to teach her about Catholicism. Her mom has some screwy ideas about Catholicism and follows her "own rules". For instance, she says she doesn't need to attend confession because she confesses to herself (Um hello?). She's had an abortion gotten divorced etc. She cherry picks what she likes about Catholicism and leaves the rest out and my stepdaughter is getting some serious misinformation. I know a lot about Catholicism but I need some help teaching a child about what Catholics believe and how it truly works because I need to put it in terms she can understand. Does anyone know of any good books or websites? Any help would be much appreciated!

  • Greek mapquest?

I'm looking for a similar mapping program on the net for Greece. Does anyone have any good sites that I can use in English? Google doesn't let me map directions.

  • Atheists- Have you ever been sworn in?

How do you handle it? I usually have to stop from getting the giggles at the "So help you God" part
