I'm comfortable in my own skin. I may not fit into size zero of the socially excepted beauty, but I don't let that keep me down. I am by no means a stereotypical cookie cut out of someone you'd see on TV. I would describe me as a little vain but totally laid back. I try to answer questions to the best of my ability with prior experience or what I think are valid theories... :)
Do you think they should take the 200lb seven-year-old from his mother?
I was watching the news this morning in Los Angeles and there was this little boy that was so over weight he could bearly open his eyes. I'm thinking how could this have happened. Then I noticed that the mother was over weight as well.
However! My mother was obese while I was growing up and I was never over weight as a child. I'm a little thick around the edges now, but I'm 25 and that's my own fault. Seven-years-old is WAY too young in my opinion to be morbidly obese.
What do you think?
Is her heart in the right place just a little misguided?
-OR-
Take her kid away and never give him back!
18 AnswersParenting1 decade agoI have throttle body injection. Will I have to make adjustments for higher altitudes?
I have a '84 Mercury Colony Park (station wagon). It has throttle body fuel injection, but it looks like a carburator!! Will it adjust automatically when I head up to the rockies from sea level or will I need to have it adjusted. Also, during the winter will I have to worry about my in-tank fuel pump freezing.. or were my friends pulling my leg?
2 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs1 decade agoDo you hate it when people answer your questions with...?
"I DON'T KNOW" C'mon.. if you don't know the answer to the question.. don't answer it.. Does this annoy anyone?
5 AnswersYahoo Answers1 decade agoWhat's up with guys wearing pants so big they droop below their butts??
Where did this fashion start? The most obvious answer is in Rap music, but where did it start first? Who thought it would be a good idea to wear pants so big it looks like they stole them from their dad or something?
22 AnswersPolls & Surveys1 decade agoI'm moving from California to Minnesota.. What should I expect, besides snow?
What are the people like there? What have been your experiences? Or.. if you live there, do you like it?
I'll be moving to the Minneapolis area. I know that I'll have to get a new wardrobe for the the weather.. I'm more interested in the community.
6 AnswersOther - United States1 decade agoSince pet food recall, should I say good-bye to commercial pet food forever?
I have had some of my friends tell me to just feed my 5 year-old Siberian Husky cooked meat and rice with powdered doggy vitamins, but who has the time for all that? I noticed that the dog food that I was paying extra for was the same as the storebrands sold to Petco and PetSmart...
However, with this pet food recall scare, I'm wondering if I should bite the bullet and just devote a day a week to cook up the meat and rice for him??
-OR- are there other more holistic dog foods I can buy?
12 AnswersDogs1 decade agoWhat's up with guys wearing t-shirts so big they look like dresses?
I mean seriously... this is the worst thing since parachute pants. Where did this style come from? Who thought it would be cute to wear clothes that are so big it looks like you stole them from the jolly green giant?
4 AnswersOther - Cultures & Groups1 decade agoDo you hate pants that don't have pockets?
On girls pants mostly... They could be jeans, slacks, or trousers. Who thought it would be a good idea to put a faux pocket on a pant.
On the other hand, is it just for fashion sake? Take away the bulk of the pocket but leave the "look" of a pocket.
and Guys.. are you fooled?
18 AnswersFashion & Accessories1 decade agoThick, curvy, chubby girls.. Friend, Lover or Foe?
When I say curvy girl I mean a woman that is chubby but takes care of herself in that she has pride enough to throw on some make up, some flattering clothes (not ones that are two sizes too small that's just denial) and holds her head up above the influence of the sickly skinny sex appeal of corporate america. What do you think? Do you like meat on the bone.. or just the bones?
