I mean, really, it's obvious the stuff is car boot sale tat rebadged.

i use Sennheiser HD 25-1 II's at work, can't afford a pair for the commute. Considered the HD-25-SP's, but frequency range is vastly reduced and headband not as comfortable or as pliable.

Seen some good prices on the AKG k450's. Are they as good? Is anything else.

Don't aspire to look like I'm in the black eyed peas or star wars. Just want nice sounding cans that won't hurt my ears or annoy the person next to me on the commute.

I edit HD video and find my fw800 7200rpm drive lags a little on occassion, and as such am looking for a faster solution:

Can an ethernet connection be used, as these seem to promise much faster transfer?

If I get an ethernet enclosure can I install an SSD drive to really ramp up the speed?

FW800 and USB 2 are the fastest device connections on my iMac, is there an ethernet / SSD option?

The number of times I've read about DSLRs having a recording cap and the claimed reasons for it, and it's been guff, duff and spoken out of their chuff!

HERE IT IS:

DSLRs have short recording times because the cards are formatted using the FAT32 system.

The max single file size on a FAT32 formatted card is 4GB.

At 1080p recording this is roughly 11mins 30s.

IT IS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE SENSOR OVERHEATING

Think about it. If you record at 680x480 then you can get 30 mins recording time. Why isn't the sensor overheating now?

YES sensors can overheat, but the camera will warn you, but it is not the reason for the 12min cap on HD clips. It's because of the file format.

PLEASE TAKE THIS ON BOARD BEFORE ANSWERING FUTURE QUESTIONS ON DSLR VIDEO.

I've starting using the ND110 and have noticed a warm colour cast to my images, I'm shooting RAW and my camera has the ability to dial in a manual colour temperature, or a white ballance shift (EOS 7D) so I'm really just wondering if other ND110 users have had this problem, and how they shift it? Is there a set amount of degrees Kelvin I should adjust images by?

I am interested in getting a DSLR with video, I already have a Canon EOS camera and many lenses, so it has to be Canon, I can't afford a 7D or 5D2, but think I would find the 500d a little limiting for the video.

Does anybody know if there is a firewire hack to let you control the frame rate (I need 50i or 25p) and on the fly exposure?

My gf wants a bike for christmas, a kit of upright stepthrough bike with cross tyres.

I have a budget of £200 max but don't want to buy a total heap with very cheap components.

I would like a bike with QR hubs a micro adjust seatpost rather than the old spanner type and maybe some basic front suspension.

Any suggestions?

I want a rugged camcroder for point of view stuff for swimming, mountain biking etc, the panasonic SW cameras seem to fit the bill, can anybody comment on how they are in use?

Does anybody know the diference between the 20 and 21 models?
