  • What's the maximum reasonable age to start medical school?

That's it. I'm smart - in fact, I'm VERY smart - and have been told by a LOT of people (including doctors on several occasions) that they wonder why I never went to med school. My son is grown, and I'm divorced, so I don't have other stuff to distract me from school. I think I'd like it, and I think I'd be REALLY good at it, but what's the maxiumum reasonable age to go?

  • How do I adjust the temperature on an electric water heater?

I live in an apartment; the legal maximum setting here is 120F, but the water is coming out at about 99F, and that makes it tough to get dishes clean when I run my dishwasher. The idiot manager here seems to think I need some sort of permit (I called the city where I live, and there is no such requirement). There are two panels/cover plates that screw on to the body of the water heater; the guy from the city said that their might be two sets of controls. I haven't removed those cover plates (I do have tools appropriate to do so). What can I reasonably expect to see when I do? Do I need to be concerned with electricity as far as a potential for injury, or would it be best simply to shut down power to the heater via the breaker box?

Any and all help, suggestions, and/or precautions are appreciated. Thanks!
