So my brother in law and sister in law have decided to come down for Christmas. Which normally I wouldn't mind except they didn't ask if we had anything planned for Christmas. My husband is very happy to be spending the holidays with them, but I on the other hand am not. My parents are going to be away for Christmas and I was so happy that finally we can do something alone as husband and wife for Christmas. Just in April my brother in law and sister in law came from California. Again, I wouldn't have minded except they purposely came during the week when my husband and I were going to go on our honeymoon (we got married in August but waited to have our honeymooon). When my husband found out they were coming he decided we weren't going on our honeymoon (my parents paid for it) and spent the entire time that our honeymoon would have been with his family and ignored me. Now it seems like this is going to happen again. I love his family but what they are doing is driving me nuts. Any suggestions?

I have sinusitis and am taking antibiotic for it as well as a strong cough medicine. I have been taking Lessina (birth control pills) for over a year. My question is does taking the antibiotic make the birth control pill less effective?

I am really sick and I went to the dr yesterday and he gave me a note that I wasn't supposed to work yesterday. Well I called my employer and they said I had to work. Isn't this against some employment rule?

For the past two days I haven't been able to sleep. Last night I turned off the tv at 1:30AM and was still up by the time I had to go to work. I should be exhausted but I am not. Does anyone have any suggestions for what I can do to get some sleep? If I take Tylenol PM I have a hangover effect the next morning but I am willing to take it to get some sleep.

My friend is 18 I am 21. Ever since I turned 21 she has been constantly nagging me to buy her beer, wine anything that has alcohol in it. I keep telling her no and she keeps nagging me. I tell her that I am not going to because of the consequences that would happen to me. She lives off on her own (which is not good) in an apartment complex that is known for having parties that has alcohol present. I am afraid to think what would happen if she got her hands on some. She cannot drive so I am thankful for no DUI's...yet. What would be the consequences for her if she were caught drinking alcohol?

I am on a diet (I have been for a year) Slim Fast and Lean Cuisine. For the past two weeks every time I eat normal food (not Slim Fast or Lean Cuisine) I get nauseated. I am not pregnant, My mom says it is all in my head but it is not. Last night I was up till 1 am because of the nausea. I am having to buy Gatorade, Ginger Ale, Sprite etc every day to help me get through the nausea. I am staying away from normal food but I am worried as this is not right. It happens with any food I eat- eggs, toast, cereal, soup etc. Does anyone have any idea what could be wrong and should I go to my doctor?

I found out what was wrong with my back, I irritated a nerve. I went to therapy and that seemed to help. The therapists gave me exercises to do at home and I do them every day. However, at work I have to lift boxes and it is hurting again just as bad as it did when I started therapy. It's hurting on my spine and hurts to breathe. My question is I have already spent thousands of dollars to find out what is wrong with my back and going to doctors about it that I don't want to spend anymore, do you think I should go back to the doctor and tell him that it's still hurting me? Answers or suggestions would be wonderful especially if you are a chiropractor or back specialist.

My diet consists of SlimFast for Breakfeast and Supper and usually skipping lunch or having a Lean Cuisine type meal for lunch. But lately I have been craving Salty foods, Chocolate, Ice Cream and Cookies. I have totally messed up on my diet today because I have eaten cookies and chips. Does anybody have suggestions on what I can do to get out of my cravings?

A few nights ago two Officers came to my house and asked for directions to an address. I didn't know where the address was and told them that. My question is could I have asked them to come into the house and wait while I looked up the address on the internet to help them out? Thanks for your help!!!

I have been having headaches every day. It's usually very bad in the morning and then gradually subsides and then gets worse so that by the time I get back from work it's pounding. I have been doing some research and it seems like I may have sleep apnea. What do you suggest I should do?

I gave my phone number to a guy and now he won't stop calling me. Is there anything I can do? Can I report this to the police?

And now he won't stop calling me. I seriously wished I didn't do it. If I just ignore him will he stop? I am currently dating someone and don't want to get involved with him. HELP!!! I gave him my number on Saturday and he has called every day since then and I've just ignored it.

I went on a first date last week with this guy. And ever since them I have been constantly thinking about him. I miss him so much and just want to be with him. Am I in love with him? Second he has been calling me and e-mailing me and seemed to enjoy being together last week and was flirting and asking me about my plans for the future and all that does he like me?

I got pulled over today and was just given a verbal warning. My questions are:

1. Will the warning go on my license? I live in the state of Florida.

2. Should I have waited until the officer was at my window to get out my license and registration? I was getting the registration out of the glove box and my license out of my wallet while he was still in the patrol car.

3. Is it normal to be really scared when you get pulled over?

This is the first time I was pulled over and was really really scared. I had my hands gripped on my steering wheel and my knuckles turned white. I knew what to expect from watching COPS and Speeders but I was still scared.

I am really interested in Law Enforcement I watch Cops, World's Wildest Police Chases, Forensic Files etc every day. Some of my friends say that I should go into some type of Law Enforcement. I learn so much from watching the shows. I work in a Courthouse and I learn a lot from the deputies who work there as well. I want to know from experienced Police Officers, do you think I should go into some of type of Law Enforcement field? And if so which one would be the best to start with?

I have questions that I would like answers to:

1. I was driving home today and really wasn't paying attention to the traffic light when it turned yellow. I slammed on my brakes as quick as I could. I have heard from people that it is okay to run a yellow light; it just means that it's getting ready to turn red and I have heard from other people that you need to stop when the light is yellow. I was taught to stop when the light is yellow who is right? Could I have gotten a ticket for possibly being a danger to the people behind me?

2. If you are in the turning lane and the light is green to only be able to go straight are you able to turn left after looking to make sure no traffic is heading your way?

3. If you are in trouble (ie being followed, tire blown out etc) and see a Police Officer's car can you signal to him that you are in trouble? And if so how?

Please help!! I am 21 years old and still live at home which I have recently come to realize is becoming awful. My mother is too protective of me. Whenever I am one minute late from coming home from work she's on the phone calling me. I also like to walk after work on a trail that we have in my city and I have to lie and say I'm going with somebody just so she'll let me go. And whenever I go somewhere she always wants me to call her when I arrive. I also have to report to her to wherever I am going. Please help this is driving me insane!!!!

I am 21 years old and I know this may sound strange but my mom wants me to get a gun permit and buy a gun since I have my own car and am alone a lot of the time. Quesion is is it against the law for me to have a gun permit and to carry a gun in my car? Where do I get a permit?
