Being good is moral excellence. Also, goodness is a fruitage (result) of God's spirit.

If you answer yes, what did Jesus mean at Matthew 27:46? About the ninth hour, Jesus called out with a loud voice, saying: “E′li, E′li, la′ma sa·bach·tha′ni?” that is, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”

In Matthew 12:38-39, something similar happened to Jesus. It reads: 38 "Then as an answer to him, some of the scribes and the Pharisees said: “Teacher, we want to see a sign from you.” 39 In reply he said to them: “A wicked and adulterous generation keeps on seeking a sign, but no sign will be given it except the sign of Jo′nah the prophet. Jesus performed many miracles and yet, many didn't believe in him. Since human actions are the same now as they were in ancient times, providing miraculous evidence/proof is not something God will do to get worshipers.

When the world's governments or political entities turn on all the world's false religions, and annihilate them, will that be verifiable proof to you that an Almighty God does exist, since he will be the one to "put into their hearts to carry out his thought?" (Revelation 17:16-17)

Since Christmas and Easter are christian holidays that celebrate a person who many call God, wouldn't it be hypocritical and a lack of devotion to what you believe if you celebrate these holidays?

And please no excuses about this being a time to spend with my family, I do this to please my family, or I love to give gifts. Spending time with your family and giving gifts can be done any other time.

What comforting words would you want someone to say to you if you lost a loved one to death?

The Bible is also distinguished as having survived more violent controversy than any other book, hated as it is by many enemies.

Anything that is worshiped can be termed a god, inasmuch as the worshiper attributes to it might greater than his own and venerates it. Therefore, when people say give proof there is a god, I say entertainers are gods, sports figures are gods, science is a god, money is a god, the president of the United States is a god...etc., etc. Since all humans worship someone or something is there really a such thing as an atheist?

It would be very offensive to any of us if we tell people our name and they refuse to use it when speaking to us.

Based on many christian denominations all good people go to heaven and the bad people go to hell.

I've notice many questions posed and answers given by people who say they are non-religious in this category and I'm puzzled why they would care?
