  • I have tried everything and cannot find a moisturize that works for me...?

I have tried everything in the department stores, I've tried samples from the dermatologist, I've gone to Ulta and tried their products...and I still have not found a moisturizer that is good for my skin. I am from Sweden (where there is no sun year round), so I have very thin, sensitive, acne-prone, dry skin. VERY dry skin. (Oh - I also currently live in Texas.) Nothing moisturizes it, and if it does, I break out badly. Any moisturizer I use has to be:

    Non-comodegenic

    Oil-free

    For sensitive skin

    Lightweight & non-greasy

(preferably blocks free radicals and SPF 15+ with antioxidants and/or firming qualities)

    UNBELIEVABLY MOISTURIZING!

I take very good care of my skin, but every moisturizing product is a win-lose situation. I need actual guidance on this, and unbiased please. When people try to talk something up to sell it, I immediately ignore them, assuming their endorsements are only partially true. Like @ UIta d:

    Thanks!

  • How can I tell if someone has a fake profile on Facebook?

I've been in the Facebook game for a while now, but I don't really get on that often and could care less about what people are posting. Recently this lady in her 30's messaged me saying she was a housewife and then proceeded to ask what I do. I'm 20, so i'm like wtf...but anyways I respond one time with very limited information, and she asks if I want to be friends "but it's fine if you don't it's up to you." and so now i'm like super wtf. All my buddies are in their late 20's, 30's and 40's, but she obviously doesn't know my age and I just find this kinda weird. I'm not going to befriend her, but it prompted my curiousity about who is and who is not fake. Thought it'd be interesting. Is there any way to tell?

  • Dirt Devil vacuum is functioning properly but once it picks up dirt, it deposits it back onto the floor...?

I've had this Dirt Devil BAGLESS vacuum for about a year now. It's always worked amazingly, then all of a sudden it starts depositing whatever it immediately picks up back onto the floor. I've cleaned the bristles and they work fine. I've cleaned both filters before each use, and still...if I go forward, it picks up dirt, but once I bring it back, it deposits it.

I put bagless in all caps, because people still want to tell me to change out the bag. I've also heard that the bristles might not be spinning, but they most definitely are. I don't know what the problem is, but I really want to fix it so I don't have to waste my time buying a crappy $40 one at walmart...

    Please help, very much appreciated!

P.s. I am not a mechanic, but I am not afraid to take sh*t apart and move things around if that helps.

  • I can't figure out what's causing this "death" smell that no one else can smell?

I'm 19. This started when I was about 16. Only when I wake up or even just lie down, this putrid smell that smells like death seems to come from my chest - or so I thought. I've asked a couple of people to smell where I smell it and they say it smells normal or good. I've heard of many things that might be causing it....everything from nasal polyps, nasal drip, mini seizures, etc.. I am trying to figure out what the **** it is because the smell doesn't exist, it's disgusting and it's pissing me right the **** off at this point. Everyone I come in contact with says I smell "soo goood" but I just smell this rotting disgusting smell. It's gross, please provide insight...

I shower 1-2 times a day, sweat only a little when I sleep, certain foods do not change the smell or how often it occurs, this smell does not ******* exist! Ah pls help

  • Numbness and tingling in arms & legs, locking up of fingers?

I eat very healthy and keep up my potassium, sodium, sugar, (etc) levels well. I guess you could say my life is almost moderately stressful right now. I have normal blood pressure, in fact barely below the number it should be (life insurance = awesome).

Lately, though, i've been having this ongoing weird tingling feeling in my arms, legs, feet and hands. At first i thought they were just falling asleep possibly from which ever way i was sitting, but i started to realize that i would sit for less than a minute and it would happen almost immediately. I am a smoker, so the thought of a stroke did cross my mind, but the way people were explaining the feeling of a stroke didn't entirely match what i am currently dealing with.

Something that's recently starting happening, along with that numb tingling feeling in my arms, legs and feet is my fingers will just lock up. Yesterday I was in the car with some buddies, someone texted me, and i couldn't move my fingers to push the buttons. At the time i thought it was a little funny but it freaked me the hell out because this has never happened. It was like a muscle lock-up but with all my fingers (both hands) and it didn't go away for about 2 hours no matter what i did.

I read somewhere that it could be stress or anxiety, which wouldn't surprise in the slightest, but what do i do about this to make it stop or lessen, if it is one of those? If it's not then what else could it be a possibility and how do i fix it?

I guess the verdict will present itself when my boyfriend, who's been out of town on work for a week and a half, comes back into town in 2 days. o.O

and please no bullshit answers. This is a concern and i refuse to pay a doctor for answers, who's just going to tell me it's stress or hormonal like they always do.

  • What is a good method to stop biting your nails and make them healthy?

I have always bitten my nails. I'm 17 and tired of not having the nails most girls, even guys do. I haven't bitten them in 3 days (World Record!!!) and i have put Sally Hansen's Maximum Growth Daily Nail Treatment and Essie All in One Base Total Nail Treatment on them. No growth is apparent and my cuticles and skin around them is still very unhealthy. I'm obviously still not going to bite them and try to keep them healthy, but nothing is working. Please help!!

  • What is a cute name for a cosmetics line?

Something cute and simple that doesn't sound too fruity. Sophisticated but not plain. Any ideas would help. Something that people will buy and not be just walk by.

  • Calculate the speed with which the moon orbits the earth given the distance from earth to moon as...?

R = 3.84 · 108 m. (Astronomers note that the true orbital period of the moon, the sidereal period, is 27.3 Earth days. Interestingly, this would mean that there are approximately 13 months in a year, not 12.)

  • What kind of college business course(s) should i take if I'm trying to learn skills about owning my own salon?

I specifically looked on the UT Dallas website listing different business courses. i obviously don't know jack **** about it because i thought it was just called "business". Apparently they have different categories and levels and time requirements. Which would be the most appropriate for learning how to own a business such as a salon?

  • What works best on hair for fighting humidity without weighing it down or making it flat?

Not looking for a texturizer or holding spray; and preferably would like my hair to still feel like hair and not clumpy or looking greasy.

I am a (natural), fine-haired blond with some chemical alteration by dyes to my hair. It is very curly but i straighten it always.
