  • Best (interesting) book on buddhism?

Excluding buddhism plain and simple. That guy repeats himself way too much for me to stay attentive and interested:/

  • fellow atheists???????????????????

Have any of you ever had a hard time accepting death with no afterlife? When I think about death I get anxiety attacks. Only sometimes though, when I am deep in thought about it. The fact that one day I will cease to exist and so will my memories. I will be nothing, think nothing and see nothing. I think about it mostly when I lay down and turn the lights off. This... without thought. I don't know, it just gets to me sometimes. On a serious level please, I know everyone atheist or not has feared death at some point in their life be it for a second or a lifetime.

  • saddle fitting a friesian?

So I'm finally getting a friesian and I'm going to train him in dressage. The only thing is I've never really had any experience with any breed outside QH, paints, TB, morgans and arabians which are all pretty small compared. So assuming that friesians would need possibly a bigger saddle since this horse is massive compared to any horse I've ever owned what size of tree typically do people buy for friesians? I was looking at a dressage saddle with a medium tree and 6 3/4th gullet width. Should I look for something else? Anyone who has a friesian or who has had experience could you please help me. I don't want my gelding to get problems later on from a saddle that is too small. He's not overweight or anything he's 16.2 approx. 1300 lbs. Thanks!

  • Cut tendon in finger?

I cut the tendon on the top of my left index finger toward the tip and now it won't bend up it straightens but the tip won't bend upward like the others at all...I cut hair so I kind of need that to bend up haha. Do tendons usually heal themselves to where you can bend the finger again? I don't have medical insurance so going to the dr. is kinda out of the question. I did it at work but I've already been to the ER twice for other finger injuries there so don't want to get fired or something....Anyone know how to make it heal quicker?
