Fighting for God

I might have to have a surgery to remove a part of my ingrown toenail. I know the surgery itself doesn't hurt that much, but does the recovery hurt at all? And how long would it take to recover? I'm just nervous because my sister had an ingrown toenail surgery...but the doctor cut too far (cutting some of the nail matrix) so 5 years on and she still has pain and her nail is completely dead...and the surgery was completed by an experienced and reliable doctor. How can we make sure that this doesn't happen?

Me and a friend (who are both Christians) were discussing the meaning of life. Like sure, you have a purpose on earth, but when evil is ridded of, and we live with God in heaven, how can it be good with no evil to compare it with? I don't know if it makes sense but it's a question that had us both stumped.

My sister and her husband are having really bad problems - including physical abuse. However, they eventually "resolve" it, but it continues to happen whenever he gets angry (he has a really short fuse). She wants to get help from their pastor at church but her husband doesn't because he feels ashamed. I tried to find a Bible verse/s for her but only found one (Matthew 18:15-17). Are there any more about abuse or are there any about seeking help when you're struggling in your marriage? Thanks.

I wanted to go to Cambodia next year but my friend doesn't know why. I'm a Christian, so is he, but he's very detailed and suspicious of everything. I was telling him about the things we're going to do in Cambodia but he thinks its stupid and won't help anyone. We'll be handing out Samaritans Purse shoeboxes, help teaching and playing with kids, help and work, install water systems etc. However, he says that "what will that do when they are kidnapped for child slavery" or "what will a shoebox actually do for the kid".

I told them that it obviously won't change the whole world or country, but their world will change etc. The thing is...I suck at debating but he's very good and persuasive and I don't know what argument to make. What can I say...and what Bible verses can I use to back it up? Thanks :)

I came back from camping and noticed one of my pierced earlobes is infected. I've had earrings for about a year so I'm pretty sure its not an allergic reaction. It was my worst infection - its red, swollen and when I squeeze it, pus comes out. It also feels like there is something hard in my earlobe. I already used the salt solution remedy and the methylated spirits remedy.

They wouldn't be on a trailer, but it would be carried by the bike carrier.

My PS3 works fine. All the games work except one - Black Ops. When I inserted the disc into the PS3, and loaded the game, "Invalid Format" suddenly appeared on my screen. Is it something wrong with my disc?

I was wondering because one of my PS3 games is not working (the sound is but the picture isn't due to a scratch). I was wondering if I could copy it onto a CD and play it on my PS3. Would that work or would the PS3 not recognise the disc?

I have a small lump on my neck about the size of a marble or big pea. It doesn't stick out much, but when I tilt my head, it sticks out a bit. It's about 3-3.5 cm from the bottom of my ear and kind of under my jaw, just not directly under. I'm only 15, but could there be the possibility that its cancer or lymphatic cancer or something like that. I've only noticed it today, so I think I've only had it for a day. Mum says that if it stays after a few days, then we'll check it out. Thanks! :)

I get freaked out when I have a piano exam. Literally, I find my heart beating really fast and my hands shake and all. And plus I have a piano exam when its really cold so my fingers won't be able to work for my fast song - which is freaking me out. How do I cope with this stress? Even thinking about it freaks me out.

My 2 year old rabbit makes this noise when she's eating, being petted or just running outside. It sounds like a purr, but with her teeth. It's really quiet. Is this normal behaviour?

She fell from a metre or so. When she fall she was squeeling for a few seconds. She's stopped now but when she walks, her hind legs are dragging behind her. I gently squeezed her hind legs and she doesn't respond. Same with her back, she doesn't respond when I touch her back. I'm really scared. She still walks but her hind legs drag behind her. She looks a bit shocked. PLEASE HELP!!

I saw today that she isn't putting much weight on her left front paw but when she runs she uses all four legs. She hops and puts weight on it like normal. She doesn't seem to be in pain but I'm aware that they don't show many signs of pain anyway. Does she need medical help? It doesn't look bad and she doesn't limp. It could be nothing. Could it be sprained? She runs around in our backyard when its warm so she gets exercise so I'm assuming she hurt it (if it is hurt) outside. She is eating normally from what I've seen. I'm just worried. If it is hurt, but isn't too serious, what should I do? Ice? Thanks! I only want to go to the vet if its serious because its expensive and we're short on cash.
