Outboard Motor water pump issues?
I have a '79 Mercury 7.5 hp outboard motor. When the engine is running, water only comes out of the indicator occasionally. It comes out as a strong stream, then stops, but the engine remains running and seems to operate fine. Occasionally some smoke comes out with the stream too.
Is this problems with the water pump? Does it need to be replaced? Or is the indicator just plugged up and the water pump is fine?
Thanks!
2 AnswersBoats & Boating1 decade agoI'd like to ski Tahoe over Thanksgiving break this year, who has the best snow?
It's my first time to Tahoe to ski. Who will have the best snow this early in the season? I've heard Kirkwood, is this true? I can ski anything and hate the big crowds. Suggestions...
2 AnswersSnow Skiing1 decade agoIn Reno or Tahoe, any hotels with underground parking?
I'll be heading through Reno or Tahoe on a roadtrip. I want to stay at a hotel and casino that is safe. I'll have to leave some of my valuables in the car. Possibly a place with underground parking? And any suggestions for a hotel/casino that is cheap to stay at? I've never been. Thanks!
3 AnswersOther - United States1 decade agoIf I'm interesting in practing law in MN, besides the U, does it really matter which school I attend in MN?
I'm interested in the Minnesota law schools. I have a good shot at admission to William Mitchell, Hameline, and St. Thomas. If I get into all of them, which school should I go to? Which one is better, if I wanted to work in MN? Does it make a difference?
1 AnswerHigher Education (University +)1 decade agoI'm looking for SUV or crossover vehicle in the 10-15 grand range, suggestions?
I need an SUV or SUV type vehicle. I want to be able to tow, yet most driving will be city/hwy. I like the clearance that SUVs have over crossovers. I also want something with a good rating and decent MPG, so looking towards a V6 not V8. I would like something to fit 4 people and their stuff. I'm not specific to import or domestic.
This is a popular market, I'm sure many of you have been looking for similar vehicles. Any tips, recommendations? Suggestions? Vehicles to avoid? I've been looking at: Envoys, Grand Cherokee V6, Liberty, Escape, TrailBlazer so far.
2 AnswersBuying & Selling1 decade agoWhich mid-size SUV would you recommend?
I'm looking to buy a mid-size SUV around the 15,000 range. I want a V6 and 4wd to have the option for occassional towing and added safety for winter driving (live in cold climate).
I do some city driving, want good ground clearance for towing smaller boats, enough space for weekend trips with friends, etc.
Considering style and safety, which would you recommend?
Thanks!
7 AnswersBuying & Selling1 decade agoHow does one go about getting a test for bipolar/ADD, or other mental health related illnesses?
A counselor recommend I get a cognitive psychological analysis done. What does this mean? Where do you go to get a comprehensive mental health screening? Are they special clinics? Does insurance cover this stuff usually?
She believes I have ADD and should go through a screening, but said they are expensive. What are they called? Thanks!!!!!

7 AnswersFishing1 decade agoIs there a value to old magazines; Audubon, Nat. Geo., Newsweek, etc.? If so, how do I sell them and where?
I'm cleaning out my Mom's storage room in her house and she has tons of back issues to various magazines. She is convinced they are worth money. Is this true? If so, where do I sell them? If not, is there any place that will take these as donations or should I just put them in the recycling bin? Thanks for your help!

5 AnswersOther - Outdoor Recreation1 decade agoWhat type of ski do you recommend? It's summer, best time to get cheap deals and get ready for winter!?
I'm 5'6 and maybe about 135 lbs. I can ski anything; trees, bumps, steeps, and pow. I'm not super strong, so I won't overpower something too easily. I have tested the K2: Outlaw, Recon, Salomon: Foil, Tornado 170cm, Fury, Rossi: B2, B3, and K2: Public Enemy.
I like the twin tips because they are soft and easy to put in edge, but I have no use for a twip tip. Any recommendations for which one I should pick up or try? Thanks!
I like really soft skis and have teste the Salomon Foil 158 and K2 Public Enemy 159, however I'm not a park rat and have no use for a twin tip. I didn't like the K2 Recon, Outlaw, Fury (156 & 64) and the Tornado 170s were too long for me to maneuver in the bumps. What ski should I get this summer?
4 AnswersSnow Skiing1 decade agoWhere can I find information Masters in Edu. with financial assistance for teaching in "at need" areas?
Looking for a list of cities, states, or schools that offer financial assistance, reduced tuition, or tuition-free programs for students pursuing Graduate Programs in Education as long as they commit to teaching in areas of need. Alternatives to programs such as Teach for America, Mississippi Teachers Corps, Georgia's HOPE Scholarship, programs like these. Does a comprehensive list exist? DOes your state offer anything like this? Let me know! Thanks!
