What are the chances I'm pregnant?
I hooked up with a guy this weekend, and we used a condom, but im pretty sure it broke because I found a piece in my underwear... He didn't finish inside me because I got too sore but he did precome. I was three days after ovulating, and my period is due in 12 days, but needless to say, I'm panicking. Help!!!
3 AnswersPregnancy8 years agoDo you think it's a blown head gasket?
Well my truck has not been running very well lately. And my dad is convinced it's a blown head gasket. The truck takes a long time to start, and once it does, tons of smoke pours out of the hood. It's a 94 F-350 with the 7.3 IDI Turbo engine. I personally haven't looked at it, but he says there is oil oozing out around each piston, and he honestly knows nothing about cars, but somethings he knows what he's talking about but this time I'm not sure. Just by what I've given ya, do you think it is a blown head gasket? Or what do you think?

I overheard my parents talking about my grandpa's cancer tonight, and they are no longer treating it, but he still has it. I'm scared of what this means... Someone help? I am not supposed to know they aren't treating it.

HELP! School Report!
1 AnswerOther - Games & Recreation9 years agoWhat is wrong with my leg?
About two weeks ago, I got kicked by a mustang on my drill team. I was kicked in the shin, below the knee about an inch. It swelled up pretty big and was bruised and had a scab where I was kicked. But I was only gimpy for a while. Well, then last Saturday, I tried getting on my little sister's pony, and he took off with me. I fell off, and landed on the same leg I got kicked in. I then proceeded to get dragged about 20 feet or so.
Since the pony incident, my leg has started throbbing with pain, after I sit down and slow down. It brings me to tears most of the time. I have no problem walking, or running, or riding my horse, it just hurts when I rest.
What could I have done to it?
2 AnswersInjuries1 decade agoWhat should I pack for a horse show?
I haven't shown in a VERY long time, and have completely forgotten what I used to bring. This weekend is Thursday-Sunday, and I'm riding the gaming events, and cow events. We are staying in a camp trailer. What should I be sure to pack?

1 AnswerOther - Science1 decade agoAny advice for exhaustion?
Well, I've dealt with exhaustion before, but only to a slight extent. And it was on a weekend. Now, I am experiencing it once more. I've slept 16 hours today, and swallowed about 1 1/2 gallons of water. Right now I'm taking a break from sleeping to socialize with my online friends, but I'm also looking for advice.
The past few weeks I've been going, going, going. Non-stop. Tuesdays are horrid for me, I wake up at 5, get my drill tack together, go for a run with my dog until 6:45, then take a shower and get ready for school. I go to school, have my personal fitness class second period, and run around 4 miles everyday at least for a portion of the class, then do weight training for the remainder. I usually skip lunch to go into classes to talk to teachers. I eat small snacks throughout the day however. Then, my last period is forestry, and there's a large amount of fitness in that class since there's a ton of heavy lifting for us. So that's for an hour and a half. Then after school, I get picked up to go to a counselor until 5. At 5, my mom comes to get me with the horse trailer, then we go get my horse, and take her to drill, where I practice from 5:45 until 10:30. Then, I get home around 11, do homework until about 1, go to sleep, and do it all again the next day.
I need to figure out how I can get more out of my sleep and eating. I'm getting so run down, and soon I'm adding in tennis and track season, along with show season. I have no clue how I'm going to do it. I'm considering online school at this point, but actually enjoy going and seeing my friends. So, well, I'm just asking for ideas and help.
Quick fixes for exhaustion, if there are any?
I have a private cutting lesson on friday, and a practice tomorrow that I CANNOT miss. I need to get rid of this fast.
And ideas for my everyday fixes?
I'm running myself into the ground.
2 AnswersOther - General Health Care1 decade agoHow do I stop cutting/self harm?
I've been cutting for almost two years, and recently I started burning my skin with matches occasionally. When I cut, the slices are deep, they last for about a month. Then the scars are dark. I usually cut once a week at least. When I'm having a bad week it can happens once a day. I'm scared. My parents are threatening to send me away. I talk to a psychiatrist once a week and I'm on medication but I just can't stop. Help me please.
13 AnswersMental Health1 decade agoDid I pop my own cherry? Confused!?
I was riding my horse and we went over a jump, I felt this weird feeling down around my vagina, and I thought maybe I was on my period. I asked my instructor if I could go to the bathroom, and then when I looked, there was this weird little almost milky looking blood spot on my underwear. I put a pad on just in case, because I didn't know what it was. But my period didn't come until a week later. Did I pop my own cherry? Because now tampons don't bother me like they used to. I used to have a hard time with them, but they glide right in now? I'm so confused!
7 AnswersWomen's Health1 decade agoOh my, does he mean anything by all of this?
Well, my friend, has started acting kind of differently. He's like super nice and sweet all the time, and he'll say things that make me wonder if he wants our friendship to turn into anything. Which would be kind of weird because he's like a brother to me. He'll say things like these:
I was wearing his shirt one night because I was too warm in my sweatshirt and he texted me this because he didn't want anyone in the room to hear it apparently?
"you look really good in my shirt. and well on me, its just ok. like you look a million times better in it."
I was like ok then.
And then he'd say things like that frequently. And sometimes the things he does make me wonder. Like, here, I'll tell you the things.
Last night we went to a haunted corn maze with a group of friends, and we broke off into groups of three. He grabbed my hand, and then hugged me, wrapping his arms around me. He was like," you, are now in my group." So I kinda just was like ok. And then through the whole corn maze I was hanging onto his arm and hiding behind him, and then he started holding my hand. It was weird cuz it wasn't just like friend hand holding, he was like rubbing my hand and playing with it.. I felt kind of awkward cuz our other friend was there watching the whole thing. I still kind of just ignored it. Then later, after the maze, we were driving home and we were talking and I was sitting next to him, he was in the driver's seat and I was in the middle. I started falling asleep and then he put his arm around me. It was a little weird. Then I apologized for killing his hand during the maze cuz I'd been squeezing it really hard. He was all like," Oh it's fine. I wouldn't rather have anyone else kill it. Plus it was worth it." Then he rubbed my shoulder and smiled and winked at me.
Later on, he'd left to go change into his halloween costume, and my girl friends and I were walking around town. He picked us up cuz we called him and it was cold. I was in under armour shorts and he commented," Your shorts look really good, Rylee." I ignored it a little again. Then it was just us in the front seat again. He started throwing hay at me because he was a scarecrow, and we were kind of flirting back and forth, which is cuz we're both major flirts. But then as he dropped us off at my friends, he tossed some hay at me and winked smiling again. We were texting after that and when we said good night, he said," Goodnight amazing girl :)" I was just like, uhhhh. It was really weird.
But does he mean anything by all he's doing? Or is it just being friendly?
I'm very confused.
1 AnswerSingles & Dating1 decade agoUh Oh. Is it still in my system?
So, last night I went to a friend's and drank. I had six wine coolers and I'm a lightweight. I'm 5'7" and 112lbs. I vomited about twice, and then i was okay. This morning it feels like the world is spinning and people are talking really loudly and slowly. I just feel like I did last night only with a hangover. Could the alcohol still be in my system? And is there a good way to get rid of the smell of vomit out of sheets?
5 AnswersBeer, Wine & Spirits1 decade agoHow should I get my hair cut?
I am going into high school and need a new haircut, it's a clean slate for me, and I really want a change. I'm getting extensions, not the cheap kind, the nice ones. I'm also redying my hair, and cannot wait to get it all done. I have thick, fine, kind of wavy hair, and it's blond. It's a little below my armpit, and i have side swept bangs, that are okay to go straight across too. I have a square jaw, and a normal sized forehead. And if it matters, I'm 5'7" Thanks!
4 AnswersHair1 decade agoOlder, Retired, Horse. What To Do?
So, here's the stats on this mare:
Age:29
Breed: Arabian
Status: Retired, Not Able to carry a rider
So, as you can see, my mare is very old, and is getting more and more aged every day. I can't ride her, and my other mare is suffering because we board at a stable with an outdoor only arena. It constantly rains here during these months, and I would like to move to a stable where it is inside, but we can't afford to board two horses. The older mare always trips, while she's walking and everything. She's done it the whole 4 years I've had her, but its gotten progressively worse. I didn't think anything of it until now, and I was actually injured a few weeks ago because of it.
I was riding her, seeing as this was before the vet told us there's no more riding her, and we were at a nice English trot. She was doing well, and then I asked for a lope. She picked it up, and we went for about a lap. Then she fell. She stumbled, and tripped, doing a front flip, I'd rolled out of the way, but not enough, she landed on my ankle. I couldn't put weight on it for about three weeks, until now.
I would like to find her foals, as I would really enjoy seeing if there was any stallions related to her that I could breed my other mare to, the breeding and foaling would be a senior project, and the foal to go away to college with.
Would it be worth it to contact the owners of her foals?
Here's a link to her bloodlines, they're quite impressive in my humble opinion:

So, now back to my original question.
What do you do with a horse that can't be a pasture buddy, as she's aggressive, and can't ride?
13 AnswersHorses1 decade agoReason for Dangerous Behavior?
So, I bought this mare a few months ago, here's some info on her:
Age: 4-8 years
Height: 15.3 hh
Level of Training: No Professional, all from previous owner was ranch work
Temperment: 2, very clam and laid-back
Weight/Build: Very Muscular, Big Beefy Cowhorse, Close to 1500 lbs.
Area of Problem: Under Saddle
Okay, so now that you have most of the info I can think of, here's my problem. She is an amazing ground horse, wonderful at showmanship and anything unless you're riding her.
She is very well behaved at the walk, carries her head low, listens to voice, leg, seat, and hand commands. The trot is a little iffy, she likes to carry a slow jog, but if asked to extend, will toss her head, grab the bit, and stop. Canter, she will tense up, at the cue, buck wildly, and proceed to rear.
This is beginning to become a very dangerous time for me to ride. I haven't fallen off(knock on wood), but am worried about her.
I really bonded with this mare, and don't want to give her up. I am selling my saddles to find one to fit her, but she also does this bareback.
