If a Muslim woman is married on earth then in heaven will she be?
considered a virgin or are only virgins on earth be considered virgins in heaven?
2 AnswersRamadan9 years agoMuslim women and heaven?
What does Islam teach about women and heaven? How do they get to go to heaven? What is the difference between how a Muslim man gets to heaven and how a Muslim woman gets to heaven.
I was just having a conversation with a friend of mine and she was telling me some things that Muslims believe about how women get to heaven. I've never heard these things before and I was wondering if it was true. She told me that a woman can only go to heaven if she is either one of the virgins in heaven or if she did more good than bad in this life, but that even that doesn't guarantee her a spot in heaven.
Will someone clarify this for me? Thanks in advance!
9 AnswersRamadan9 years agoQuestion regarding homosexuality?
In the homosexual community is it more likely for someone in the couple to take on the opposite gender role?
For example, if two girls decided they want to be in a relationship will one of them be the "man" in the relationship? Or will one of them decide to be the protector of the other/ the leader in the family (if they decided to get married)?
I ask because I am currently discussing gender roles amongst heterosexual couples and I was wondering if those roles are the same amongst homosexual couples.
If anyone was offended by the way I phrased this questions I apologize, it was not my intent. I'm just curious as to how gender roles work in homosexuality.
5 AnswersLesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender9 years agoMuslims, how did the world come about?
Do you believe in evolution or do you believe that Allah created the world?
I don't know much about Islam so I thought I'd come here to find out a little more about your beliefs. Thanks so much for your answers, in advance :)
7 AnswersRamadan9 years agoIs Christianity the only religion that tells mankind that we are sinful and wicked?
I don't know much about other religions and I'm slightly curious as to what they teach. Is there another religion out there (other than Christianity) that tells mankind that we are wicked and that we need to be saved and turn away from our corrupt behavior?
6 AnswersReligion & Spirituality9 years agoChristian men, a question for you?
I have a guy friend whom I like and one night when we were talking I asked him why he only speaks to me about the Bible, God or other spiritual matters and nothing else (for example, movies, music, hobbies etc.). Now, I noticed how he'll talk to every other female about the examples I gave but never me. When I asked him why he does that he told me, "I gotta stay safe" and when I asked him what that meant he wouldn't tell me. Do any of you men out there know what it means when a man says that to a woman?
p.s. I know I'm in the wrong section for this but the relationships section doesn't seem to have too many people in it right now and I want this question answered.
11 AnswersReligion & Spirituality9 years agoQuestion for atheist?
I met an atheist who said he didn't believe in intelligent design but he also didn't believe in evolution. He said that he couldn't bring himself to believe that that this whole world came from a big bang and he doesn't believe that humans evolved from apes. I asked what his position was on how the earth and humans came about and he couldn't give me an answer. I was under the impression that all Atheist believed in creation; but I now see that's incorrect. Are there any atheist here who not only don't believe in creation but also don't believe in evolution? If so, what do you believe?
14 AnswersReligion & Spirituality9 years agoIn Islam, is homosexuality considered a sin?
I know in Christianity it is but I'm not sure where Islam stands on the issue. If it is a sin can someone tell me why it is considered a sin? Thanks!
10 AnswersRamadan9 years agoMuslims: A few simple questions about your doctrine.?
I am not Muslim and I know nothing about your faith but I am curious to know what you believe.
1. What does Allah teach? Does he say that by nature we are evil, good or does he not say anything about our natural behavior?
2. Is there a hell?
3. How do you go to heaven?
4. Is there such a thing as sin?
Thanks in advance for your answers!
5 AnswersRamadan9 years agoAtheists, do you dislike the IDEA of God? If so, why?
If this applies to you, please answer.
Aside from your belief that there is no evidence of God; therefore, He must not exist, do you dislike the idea of there being a God? If so, what part of that idea do you not like? Is it the fact that Christians say that He calls us sinners? That mankind is evil? Do you not like how there are so many so-called Christians who are mean and hypocritical; therefore, it makes God look bad? What is it?
This is a serious question, I'm trying to figure out why some atheist don't like the idea of God. I just watched a debate on youtube between a Christian and an Atheist and the Atheist is very hostile toward God and religion but he didn't say why. Curiosity got the best of me so I figured I'd ask.
Thanks in advance, have a great rest of your day!
18 AnswersReligion & Spirituality9 years agoAtheist, which religion do you disagree with more?
For those of you who think that religion is crazy/a waste of time, is there one religion that you think is more ridiculous than another or do you think that they are all equally ridiculous?
16 AnswersReligion & Spirituality9 years agoContradictions in the Bible? Atheist and nonChristians only please :)?
For those of you who say that the Bible has contradictions will you please give me the scripture references you are talking about? Let me say that once you give me the references I will not try to provide an answer for you. I'm simply asking this question so I can research what others see as contradictions so I can study them. That is all, thanks for your cooperation :)
7 AnswersReligion & Spirituality9 years agoFor those of you who DON'T believe in God...?
This is an honest question so i'm looking for honest answers. I'm having trouble understanding why some people work so hard to prove that God doesn't exist.
For those of you who don't believe in God AND WORK hard to prove that He doesn't exist, why do you do it? Correct me if i'm wrong, for those of you who don't believe, wouldn't you just go about living your life the way you please? Why spend time trying to prove someone doesn't exist if you are positive He doesn't.
Believers tell others about God because 1. We love Him and 2. We are commanded to spread the gospel to all who are willing to hear. We believe that there is a consequence for not receiving the free gift of salvation that He offers us through Christ and that is hell. Those are the reasons why we talk about God. But for Atheist, according to their beliefs, there is no consequence for not believing in God.
Please not that for those of you who don't believe and DON'T try to prove that God doesn't exist, this question DOESN'T apply to you.
23 AnswersReligion & Spirituality9 years agoMuslims: Muhammad and Jesus, may peace be upon them?
I recently asked a question regarding Muhammad and Jesus and in each answer that was given, the words, "May peace be upon him" followed their names. Why is it that these words were written after their names were mentioned?
3 AnswersRamadan9 years agoMuslims: A question for you regarding Muhammad and Jesus.?
I am unfamiliar with the Islam faith. Will someone BRIEFLY tell me who Muhammad is and according to Islam, who Jesus is. Also, will you tell me what roles they play in Islam. Thanks!
9 AnswersRamadan9 years agoAtheist, since you don't believe in the God of the Bible do you not believe in Satan either?
This is an honest question, I truly don't know the answer that's why i'm asking. For those of you who don't believe in Satan, why not? For those of you who do believe in Satan, why and why believe in Satan and not God?
26 AnswersReligion & Spirituality9 years agoAtheist, what type of proof are you looking for?
I've seen several times on yahoo answers that some atheist would like valid proof of the existence of God. For those of you who inquire of that proof, what would you consider to be valid proof? And if you had that proof, would you choose NOT to believe in Him?

1 AnswerSingles & Dating9 years agoWhat makes you a Christian?
Many times when individuals are asked, "What religion do you associate with" people are quick to say Christian if they aren't Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist, Mormon etc.. My question is, if you are a Christian, what makes you one? Did you become one because you follow the 10 Commandments? Because you are a good person? What is it?
