what does this phrase mean?
When someone tells you: Dream with Me or Can I dream with you What do they mean? It's from Brazilian culture. And what does the phrase itself mean: appearing in someone's dreams? And what do the people mean when they say that phrase? What emotion is being expressed? And what should be the response (if you agree)
Thanks so much for responding.
1 AnswerLanguages10 years agoReligion erases independence skills?
I just noticed that Christians are taught all the time that they know nothing and can do nothing by themselves. That they have to rely on God for ALL things. And always ask God's opinion on ALL things. (Except of course hardly anybody has learned how to hear back from God)
So this creates a society where people lack independence skills and have to ask somebody else anytime they need to/want to do something.
And that's why, many of the Christians will feel lost and unable to function when they find out that there is no God as they used to believe. It's like somebody making sure that the person cannot function without them by constantly teaching them to deny their independence. It's like a controlling husband who won't let the wife do anything without his involvement, that way she would be afraid to leave him.

1 AnswerWomen's Health1 decade agoCould a GOOD Being create a place of eternal torture like hell?
People say: God gives you a choice, you don't have to choose hell. But why in the world did God create hell in the first place? It would be like a king who created a torture chamber and then told the people: if you disobey, you'll be tortured. And then if people disobeyed, the king would say: I warned them, so it's their own fault for being here.
But the king could have been more decent and not create a torture chamber in the first place.
But God did create it. Why?
Why in the world would he WANT TO create such a place? Is that because he is so good and loving?
13 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoAdam's sin made him imperfect?
What was Adam's sin anyways? The fact that he was curious about the fruit of the tree?
So he was created perfect. Then he was curious about the fruit of a tree and tried it in spite of prohibition. And that act made Adam be imperfect and sinful? Wasn't he already "sinful" since he wanted to try to do something that was prohibited? So wasn't he sinful BEFORE he ever tried it? So if he was sinful, when was he perfect?
How could a perfect person do something imperfect in the first place?
There is something wrong with this story. The writer of the story was not interested in reality or in the fact that the story should make some sense...
