  • Do you have to get a visa if you have a layover in Thailand and do not leave the airport?

    We fly in from Vietnam, change airlines and fly out again a few hours later. Don't have time to leave the airport. Do we still need to go through the visa process?

  • Does your GE Profile dishwasher have a 1/2 in gap at the top?--not between the counter and dishwasher.?

    My dishwasher is hard to close. It seems like you should be able to push the top of the door closer to the dishwasher by 1/2 inch more at the top--there is a gap. The door sqeeks a bit (sounds like water--I'm hoping it's the gasket) when closing and you have to push it hard to make it latch. There is no gap at the bottom, but it gradually widens so that by the time you get to the top, there is this gap.

    Is this normal? Or, perhaps I did this when I tripped over my 2 year old and fell on the open door last night. We're ok, but now I'm worried I bent the door or that my latch is going to break because of the stress on the door.

    Please check your dishwasher and see if this is normal.

    BTW--I tested it and it doesn't seem to leak. Thanks!

  • What kind of cookies should I bring to a funeral?

    I've been asked to bring cookies for a funeral luncheon. I didn't know the deceased well, but he was a fairly young man (50s). Christmas cookies seem a bit too festive. Ideas? Recipes?
