This morning my check engine light came on. I was wondering what might be wrong before I bring into the mechanic. Could it just be because I need an oil change?

He talks about a kid with a masters degree working at a fast food place...

Today I bought my car to the mechanic for a oil change and to have my inspection done. Apparently 2 of my tires failed inspection, so I had them replace all 4, knowing the other 2 wouldn't be so far behind. I noticed that as I drove to work later this afternoon, that when I start to accelerate, my car sounds louder than usual. This only started happening after I took it to the mechanic, any reason why this might be?

Would a tetra or a otocinclus, most likely be the culprit? And what should I do?

I have a 10 gallon tank, which only had the cory and two tetras. I added a few more tetras and a Otocinclus. Its been about two weeks now and I just realized that the top fin of my corydora is completely gone. What should I do? My corydora is my longest lasting fish, and personally my favorite.

I have a 5 gallon tank, with filter and heater. I've had four guppies for about a year now and two tetras that I received about three months ago. Everything, and everyone had been doing great but about a week ago one of my guppies died, and ever since then two were on the brink of death and now one is just staying up at the top in the corners of the tank, or behind the filter.

I bought a water sample to the Pet store and they said my nitrate was too high and to replace a little of the water, and not feed them as much. I've done both.

Is there any reason why my guppies might be dying?

Since they discontinued it, is there anything that smells similar?

I have a dachshund that is six years old, and she has been recently having problems with the nails on her front paw. One pretty much fell off and the second one the vets had to remove. One of the nails that had grown back, is now falling off again. Its hanging on just by the vein, what should I do?
