The Dissenter
Why do people judge other people's writing without reading it first?
Obviously we live in such a terrible world thgat people pass judgements on other people's writing without bothering to read it. I know that the only purposee of the Internet is to insult as many people as you possibly can on a daily basis, but even so...it makes no sense to insult people for no reason.

8 AnswersMovies9 years agoWhy is Pixar releasing a movie about archery? Isn't one movie about archery per year enough?
It's not like The Hunger Games is unknown or anything. So why did they choose to release a movie that involves archery as a heavy concept the same year as another film that involves archery as a heavy concept?
Not only do they both involve archery, but they both have female protagonists that are supposed to be role-models for girls. Soon there won't be a girl without a bow and a quiverful of arrows at her beck and call.
Yes, I'm aware of the two Lincoln films coming out this year and the two Snow-White films. But I thought Pixar was above doing what everyone else was doing.

I can't find the Sccripture in the Bible that mentions "these vicious hunger games." Someone told me to read Exodus, someone else said it's in Leviticus, and yet another person said Deutoronmy, but I can't find it!

I do plan on seeing The Hunger Games, but not this weekend. Why? Because I KNOW that the theaters are packed.
But one site said that if you don't see it this weekend, you must live in a District 13 bunker.
Of course, since I don't have any money pretty much, I probably do live in a District 13 bunker...

Jennifer Lawrence is signed up for four Hunger Games films, but there are only three Hunger Games books out right now. What's going on?
3 AnswersBooks & Authors9 years agoWhy do young people take delight in books about children killing each other in a reality show?
I can kind of understand if it well-written. I haven't read The Hunger Games yet, so I don't know if it's well-written or not. But the movie is not written in the sense that you don't see the words that were written to make it. The Chemical Garden trilogy by Lauren DesTefano deals with dark subject matter too. But it's bearable because you are with a character you love and it is so well-written that all the awful stuff that happen to the main chareacter are not so disturbing that they eject you from the stroy. But The Hunger Games sounds like ejection from the story is highly likkely. Katniss Everdeen sounds awesome, yes, but that doesn't change the fact that she has to KILL CHILDREN in order to survive.
Of course, if Katniss lost the Hunger Games, Suzanne Collins would be lynched.

4 AnswersMarriage & Divorce9 years agoIs the movie Amanda Seyfried is in called "Gone" where all the people older than 14 disappear?
The title is the same as a book series called "Gone" by Michael Grant, and I'm wondering if this is the same "Gone." Amanda Seyfried is too old to play a 14-year-old though...in "Mean Girls" she played a 16-year-old...
