Hermione Granger
As a first year, I discovered magic. My 2nd year was chaotic. From being paralyzed, to figuring out the mystery as to what was happening in my school... Thank goodness Harry speaks with tongues! My 3rd year was interesting... I would say that the highlight was definitely punching Malfoy. Ron, Harry and I had to free Buckbeak, and steer clear of Lupin on a full moon. My 4th year was just as crazy. Mad-Eye came to teach Defense Against the Dark Arts, but it turns out that it wasn't Moody at all. Crouch JR. put Harry's name into the Goblet of Fire, and Harry got picked for the Triwizard tournament. (Or was it a Quadwizard that year?) Cedric got killed, I had a great year with Viktor Krum, and You-Know-Who rose again. My 5th year was not good at all, until the end. It started with Umbridge, whom taught Defense Against the Dark Arts, but then basically took over the whole school. Year 6 was just funny... Ron and Lavender! Ha! Harry had that half-blood book or whatever.
Homecoming dress ideas?
I've been looking all over! I don't want the gaudy type that come up if you google "homecoming dresses" because they're too expensive and way too blingy for me. I've looked at ASOS, Urban Outfitters, Tobi, Bebe (but they're toooo tight), Modcloth, and South Moon Under.
I'm 5'7" and pretty fit (not like a super skinny girl but I work out a lot and it looks like it, ya know?) with brown hair and blue eyes. I'd like to avoid black and white dresses because everybody wears them, and $150 is my ABSOLUTE max.
Thanks so much!!

There are ones for maintaining excellence while playing school sports, "difference maker" scholarships, and what else?

Preferably more on the alternative side? Like, not Taylor Swift. Things a boy might like.

1 AnswerRock and Pop8 years agoWhat should I get my boyfriend for Valentine's Day?
We're 16, we've been dating for 2 months (but we've "been a thing" for a while, haha). For his birthday, I got him a bow tie, and I did a "snow day" basket for Christmas-- it was PJ pants, a movie, some of his favorite candies, etc. I don't know what to do for Valentine's Day! I'd like to stay away from the super cliches like chocolates or movie tickets, ya dig? He plays volleyball, and I'd get box sets of his favorite TV shows or something but they're all on Netflix...
Thank you, you're wonderful! :)
Maybe a mix CD? The only thing is that he and I have *really* different taste in music, haha.

3 AnswersValentine's Day8 years agoHow painful are rook piercings?
Also, what is your opinion on them? I have one hole in each ear, and the other piercing I want is my rook. Personally, a lot of piercings isn't my style, but I do like the rook.
How bad does is hurt when they pierce it, and does it hurt afterwards? Like, will it hurt to sleep on after a month of it being pierced? Thank you!
5 AnswersOther - Beauty & Style8 years agoWhere should I buy a sparkly dress for New Year's?
I like this one: http://www.forever21.com/Product/Product.aspx?BR=f... but I'm scared that the sequins look a little cheap.
It's for New Year's Eve, I'm 16, and I'd like to stay under $40. Let's have fun!

My bite valve leaks, and I was wondering if any other one would fit, or if I needed a specific one. What do you recommend: The locking one, or the original one?
1 AnswerPolls & Surveys9 years agoLower back pain and I'm a runner?
I'm having pain on my right side, lower back. I was on a run and it started to hurt about half a mile into the run, and ached with every stride. The further I got, the worse the pain got, and it started coming up my back a little bit, so I walked back. It still hurt when I was walking, but running was worse. I didn't stretch before my run, so could that be it? I'm starting cross country in two weeks, so it's crucial that I can run before that.
Previous injuries are:
Stress fracture (left of the middle of my lower back)
Groin pull (right leg)
Suggestions, remedies, stretches? Thank you so much!
1 AnswerPain & Pain Management9 years agoWhat should I do to get into good shape for cross country?
So to start off, I should mention that I've never run long distance before. This fall, I am going to do cross country. What should I do so that I can try to work up to being able to do 4 or 5 miles in about a month. The longest I can go now is 1 mile, walk for 1 minutes, and then go almost the full second mile running. Any advice?
3 AnswersRunning10 years agoHow do you delete suggestions that come up if you type in one letter on a website on Google Chrome?
So here's how the story goes; I was logging on to Facebook and I accidently tapped Caps Lock instead of Tab an pressed enter, so I typed my password next to my email in the same box. Now, every time I type the first letter of my email, one of the suggestions has my password in it... Please help, because this is a family computer.
Thank you!!!
4 AnswersGoogle1 decade agoWhat song is this song?
It's a country song, (well it was played on a country station, but it didn't sound wayyyy country), and it was sung by a guy. It was about how his girlfriend/wife/lady friend loves some things, which makes him love her.
It was in a song "cat fight" with the song "Best Song Ever" by Katie Armiger last night.
