My best friend is the most outgoing, positive, happy girl I know. She is always laughing and never seems like she would be the anxious type. Well, little did I know,I was telling her about how anxious I was to do a presentation the other day, and she confided in me, telling me she suffers from panic attacks, bad anxiety, thoughts, etc also. I would never have known that though, because she doesn't seem like she would be the anxious type. I'm not very outgoing, and quite shy so i thought this was interesting.

Its just a rough idea right now, as I'm not sure about it it starts with a flashfoward... But anywho, here it is ----

I still couldn't believe they hadn't tared down Miss Elle's old farm yet. I had been gone from Oak borough since I graduated from High school which seemed like years ago. but the old farmhouse and barn still remained in tact. I drove by it yesterday, which might of been a foolish thing to do as it was snowing furiously and none of the back roads had been plowed. But I had to see the old farmhouse for myself. Miss Elle would be proud to know it still remained. Miss Elle passed away when i was senior in high school. I still missed her. I think of her everyday though, and as I passed the old farm I can still picture her waiting on her porch steps with open friendly arms.If only Miss Ellen was here now.If only she knew that i did survive high school, even though i told her all those times that I wouldn't make it. If only she knew that I went on to study in college. She always told me this day would come when all the emotional turmoil, stress, and anxiety that came when I was a freshmen in high school would be cast off as soon as it came with me. I still remember the year I first met Miss. Elle. It wasn't your typical destined meeting. It was my first day of Lawrence high school, The walk home seemed endless without even a light to help guide me home. I remember the leaves had all turned a golden caramel and ruby red hue that brought on the usual Fall atmosphere I so much enjoyed when I was little but gradually forgot as I grew older. It seems like only yesterday, I was helping Miss Elle feed Scarlet and brush her wiry mane that always took an hour to get my brush through. Scarlet was a brown stallion that Miss Elle gave to me as a gift on my 16th birthday. I named her Scarlet, because her spirit always reminded me of a red ember, in a fire that never went out. That was Scarlet, she never gave up, and I often had a similar streak, and so we made a good pack. I think Miss Elle knew that when she gave her to me. If it weren't for Miss Elle, I'm not sure where I would be now. The one thing that always stuck out about Miss Elle, was her talent for listening. She never judged, just listened with an open heart and mind to whatever trouble that ailed you. She was the one I always told my dreams and ambitions to. Unlike my mother, she liked the idea of my becoming a lawyer or a scientist. She leaped with joy at the idea of my becoming the first female president. I didn't think I would become any of these things, but it always made me feel good to know Miss Elle believed in me. As it turned out, I became none of those things. In my 25 years of life, I never would of thought a writer was what I would become. After all, I was a horrible speller in grade school, and my composition always seemed to make my teacher shutter with disgust. But i guess, it just goes to show, the future is never what you imagine it to be. But that's what Miss Elle always told me. " dream as wide as the ocean, and seek as far as the mountains, for you never know what the future has in store for you".

Thanks for any advice on this. And feel free to tell me it stinks.

I have to write it for my final for my lit class. Here's my idea ---

A girl, ( around 13,14 is just starting her first year of high school/freshmen, and experiences, bullying, a tough time fitting in, and hates it overall. She finds sanctuary in a run down park nearby and cleans/fixes it up and builds trails, to make it look better and goes there everyday after school. She starts to form a bond with the park, and the animals that she sees there ( deer, squirrels, etc) and see's it as an escape from reality and her school life etc.

Hmm..that's all I have so far. Let me know if this idea seems just horrible or not. :D Thanks,

Mine is Pride and Prejudice.

Whether I'm at the store, or out and about. They give me long stares and creepy-ish type looks, and it makes me self conscious. Maybe I just never noticed it before? I'm 18 and look mature for my age, but are they staring my the freckles on my nose, or just bored and looking around? Also, when I was older, I mean 30s/40s.

I turned 18 in September and ever since then have had horrible anxiety/irrational thoughts, panic attacks etc. I know I'm only an adult technically bc I honestly don't feel like on inside and I'm scared of facing adulthood. I miss my childhood and feel like my safety net is going out the window. I've been crying lately bc I miss how simple things were when I was a kid, and Im frightened of any changes coming. Did you feel this way when you were my age? Any kind words are appreciate.

Its strange, but once I apply it my eyes all of a sudden appear tired and really dark. I have dark brown eyes. Why is this? Should I try another color.

It has to be the color green but the design can be whatever. I liked this bc it is simple and not too long. I have pretty pale, slender, with dark brown curly hair. What do you guys think?

Ever since a couple months ago, I've had bad bad anxiety and irrational thoughts esp at night. I'm worried about my future, career, life, living on my own, college, etc. I guess I didn't think much about it when I was in high school bc everything was so structured. Now, I'm incredibly anxious all the time and feeling worry every day. I know what I want to study, and I already was accepted to the college I was hoping for, but I'm still uneasy and scared. Advice? ~Sarah

Where would I start if I wanted to do art that is involved in advertising? Meaning, what would I major in? And what type of art school would I go to? Any info on the subject I would appreciate! :)

I have a post nasal drip since this morning and all day I have been nasuas and vomiting. I feel instantly better after I vomit but than the feeling comes back again and I puke again. My mom said my stomach is just upset from my post nasal drip. What is it? And what can help the feeling go away?

Its really clear, I typically have difficulty getting good action shots of my dog while running/jumping etc. I have a Canon EOS Rebel T4i 18.0 MP Digital SLR Camera. Any advice/tips to get good action shots? Thank you so much! :)

My girl-friends will often try and persuade me to straighten it, but I feel like I'm just drying out my hair when I do that. Most of my friends have poker straight hair. Do you find curly hair pretty?
