What rear wheel drive transmissions will bolt up to a Fiero 2.8L V6?
The engine is not going back into a Fiero...
I'm looking for an automatic transmission designed for a FRONT engine, rear wheel drive vehicle, which will bolt right up.
The parts car is a 1986 Fiero with only 60 000 km on it. (37,000 miles)... Everything is in excellent condition except the whole body has been trashed by vandalism.
The engine would be perfect for the machine I'm building but the transaxle isn't going to work.
So, any ideas?

1 AnswerOther - Cars & Transportation8 years agoWhat are some good rock songs that are not in English?
I mean songs that are mostly or completely in another language.
For Example: Allein by Nemesea.... Mostly German but has an English chorus.

A few years ago a friend and I were in the back yard looking at the stars when we both saw a point of light suddenly grow out of nothing, and instantly disappear.
At it's largest diameter it was roughly the size of the north star, but nowhere near as bright.
It was a white flash but kind of pale.
It was not moving across the sky, just a single point.
It took a total of maybe one second to expand from nothing and then instantly disappear.
6 AnswersAstronomy & Space9 years agooverhead furnace - everything works but burners don't light up?
I have a Modine PA50AB natural gas furnace in my garage. It is an overhead hanging furnace.
Everything, including the pilot light works fine, but the other day the burners stopped working and it now just blows cold air.
I have tested the 24VAC transformer and it is making 26.3VAC. (Very reasonable for a 24V transformer with no Voltage regulator)
The thermostat is working properly. It's an old mercury switch style.
I have checked all connections and they are all fine.
It has an internal electronic (non adjustable) timer. I assume it creates the delay from when the thermostat trips until the fan turns on. I don't know how to test it.
It has a thermal limiter switch. I don't know how to test it.
There is no power going to the valve body, under any circumstances.
What controls the power supply to the valve?

3 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs9 years agoYamaha Golf Cart - what could be the problem?
I just got an old Yamaha Golf Cart for free, but it doesn't run.
I put a battery in it and jacked up the back wheels, it cranks very well. It has good strong spark, and it's definitely getting fuel. It just floods itself.
It doesn't even make even one single chug, backfire, or anything at all.
After cranking it for a while, I pulled out the plug. It is almost brand new, gapped to .035", and soaked with gas. The carb looks like it has been recently rebuilt, Everything seems to function like new, including the needle valve and float.
I'm hoping to sell it and make a few bucks, and that will be much easier to do if it runs and drives.
Thanks in advance for any help - I've been messing with this thing since Tuesday night and I'm pretty much tired of guessing.
1 AnswerMaintenance & Repairs1 decade agoA few things to bend your mind around...?
1. If time is infinite into the past, meaning an infinite amount of time has passed, then how is it possible for the time we are in to be here now?
2. How is it possible for time to have an absolute beginning?
3. The universe is believed to be infinitely large. The big bang theory suggests that the universe is 13.7 billion years old, and exploded outwards from a single point. If that is true than the universe should be somewhat spherical in shape and about 27.4 billion light years in diameter, because nothing can exceed light speed. But, it is much, much bigger. How is that possible?
