  • I get paranoid that guys I don't know might see me in a sexual way and so I avoid them at all costs?

I do everything to ignore their existence to the point of awkwardness. I know it's not fair but I can't help it. I can't make eye contact and I can't smile back. I would try but I know it would look super fake so I don't bother anymore.

Unless I happen to be feeling great that day, this is with all men, my age or older/younger and regardless of how attractive they are.

  • What's the longest you've been single for?

Did you get used to it after a while? Was it easy at first, then got harder the more time passed, or was it hard at first but got easier as time passed?

  • I have trouble keeping eye contact with my crush. Help??

Everytime I talk to him I have to look away after a couple seconds. I don't want my gaze to be too intense and scare him away, so I just look down or off in the distance while I listen. Is this off-putting? He's a grown man btw.

  • In a sad state... How to get my mind off boys?

I had a best guy "friend" who I dated for three years. Lately I realized he doesn't and will never really care about me, so I've decided to end things. It makes me sad to think about but I'm ok for the most part.

I work full time and spend the rest of my time with my family. The closest male in my life is a coworker who I think is incredibly attractive but is much older and most likely married. I've been dreaming about him alot lately but it's no good.

I rarely see my other friends these days and feel cut off from the rest of the world. I'm not one to hang out at bars in hopes of meeting someone. I just want peace. What do?

  • How to care about others when you get anxiety?

I'm newly beginning to realize I've been a bad listener all my life. I always get so nervous and self-conscious when talking with others because I'm so sheltered, unless it's all about me. I don't like being that way and want to start being a positive presence for other people.

So what are some tips/advice for focusing on what the person in front of you is saying, rather than obsessing on yourself?

Any advice is appreciated - thank you. :)

What makes her confident? How can you tell she is? And what does she deal with? Thanks. :)

  • Ladies? When do you wear a dress and why?

Do you find a reason for wearing one, or do you just put one on anytime you feel like it? Do you save them only for dates and parties? The more detailed the better, thanks. :)

  • Guys: what do you think of leather jackets on girls?

I'm interested & listening! Are they cute? Sexy? Too bulky or manly? Bonus points if you can link a photo of someone who wears it well in your opinion.

  • Girls? What do you wear a leather jacket over?

I'm not a fan of girly-looking dresses and lace under a black leather jacket. But maybe I just haven't seen them worn well together.

Anyways, if you can share or link pictures of what you think looks good, please!

  • Place to find natural material bras?

I'm wondering if there's any place that sells bras lined with natural material like cotton, silk, etc. It's so common to find ones with natural exterior lining but with poly insides.

  • Men wearing a size larger than their own size?

I'm getting a sweater for my friend and was wondering if men wearing one a size larger than his normal size tends to look bad.

Also what men think of second-hand clothing? Thanks in advance!

On a girl a bigger sweater looks fine because with skinny pants it only makes her look tiny. But I know the same doesnt necessarily apply for men.

  • People who call you "hun"?

In a regular conversation, when they are either asking you a favor or politely disagreeing with you...

...I find it unneccesary and condescending? Like if you're not a close friend or sharing some close sentimental experience, you have no right to call me by a pet name?

  • Is it wrong of me to be totally disgusted by this?

I have a friend who I've never been attracted to and I've told him many times but he just doesn't back off. He's made some huge life decisions just based on the little things I say, like college major and doing drugs, even trying to quit his prescriptions, saying my opinion matters to him more than anyone else.

He won't get the idea that I'm not his counselor/mom and don't want to be responsible for his actions, and to be honest I'm really grossed out by him and how close he tries to get to me, but don't want to say it bluntly because he might be suicidal? He is autistic by the way.

  • Do you look better in sunlight, or indoor lighting?

Just wondering what people personally think, whether there is much difference at all.

  • Do you have to be beautiful to work at a mall?

    Clear skin, good brows, etc.

And in a high-end mall, that is. Not one with a dollar-store or Wal-mart inside.
