I'm getting a tattoo on the top of my foot on Saturday and I'm wondering about shoes and socks and all that.. This is going to be my 8th tattoo. I have to go back to work 5 days after I'll be getting the tattoo and my job has me walking around a lot either on the floor or I stand at the register or the fitting room. I know it's going to hurt to walk, but I'm more concerned about shoes. I have either Converse (which would be worn with socks..) or I have Sperry's worn without socks, but would expose the tattoo. Plus I have two dogs and a cat and I'm really concerned about the risk of infection with keeping it exposed.. But is it ok to wear socks around the house? And should I cover it when I go to work?

I've heard that red/pink tattoo ink causes a lot of allergic reactions. My mom just had a problem with pink ink, and has a really bad reaction. We got tattooed at the same place, same day. I'm pretty sure he used the same color red on us/the same brand of ink (he had two brands) I'm doing fine with the red ink and am having no reaction. If I can handle one brand of red, can I handle other brands of red ink too?

I'm going to my 5th, 6th, and 7th tattoos next week.

It's going to be 3 butterflies. One for my older brother, on for me, and one for my younger brother.

It's going to be done in all of our favorite colors and with our initials in the wings.

First will be royal blue with the initial B

Second will be lime with the initial M

Third will be orange with the initial K

I've been thinking about this for awhile and I've decided I want to do it, but just out of curiosity, I'd like some opinions.

It would be a memorial tattoo (for in the future) for my grandmother. I hate to think about it, but when the day does come that she passes away, we've always been extremely close and I love her dearly, and she's always loved birds so I thought I would get a red cardinal, because that's her favorite, and I would put it on the top of my foot, I would want it to look something like this:http://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://mytatto...

(the red one) and then have some saying on it, any ideas on the quote?

So, what do you think of the idea, have any ideas on a quote, and what do you think of the placement? Although it's pretty much the only place I could get it because I already have two big hip ones, one on my shoulder blade and one on my wrist, but you have any other ideas (non visible) I'll listen! :)

I just got really big angel wings tattooed on both of my hips (one wing on each hip) and I got them both done 3 days ago in one sitting. it not my first tattoo, but it's my first big one and I was wondering if the things I was experiencing were normal.

1) little red dry blood spots in some areas

2) still having decent pain (but it's kind of improving)

3) a little swelling

and I was wondering how long should they hurt? because I work, and I dot think my bosses are too happy with me right now because Im having a hard time getting around becase the jeans rub against te tattoos.. so normally, along with my other questions, how long should tattoo pain on hips go on for? thanks for any help!!!!

This is going to me my second tattoo, I already have one on my wrist and to me it hurt like hell!!! I would prefer to have this one done in one sitting, and I'm going to place each wing on each side of my hip right below my ribs, but on the side, not the front, if that makes any sense lol..

I had a dream the other night about my worst enemy. It took place where he lives, and where I used to live.. We were next door neighbors, so I was at my house just staring at his, and giving a nasty look waiting for him to come out of the house, but instead of he and his family coming out, there were like 5 other families just living in his house (I have never seen these other people that were coming out of the house) And no one knew where my enemy went or his family. They were just gone.. Oh, and if this makes a difference, his house was kind of being re-done. Well, what I saw from the outside was anyway..

It just kind of freaks me out and I was wondering what it could mean.. Thanks for any help guys!
